New York vs Portland

Question

Many people on Portland and I don&#x27;t blame em one bit. It may sound crazy, but there is one reason I&#x27;m taking NYK &#x2B;6 tonight, and that is Raymond Felton back in Portland. Cap the game before the line released, we all knew they would be without Melo. 3 games in 4 night, this one on a b2b. So shouldn&#x27;t the line be -9 at the very least? Close game, I&#x27;d reckon even Knicks ML at &#x2B;210, but I&#x27;m gonna take it easy there.Basically my prediction is a New York win or Portland win by less than 6 of course. BOL(Could easily be a blowout here and we all know it, but 6 is just too small a number for Portland to be laying in my opinion.) Will probably be placing a little on the under as well.

I find it hard to believe that NY will play soft after 2 embarrassing blowouts. I&#x27;m gonna take the 6 points and much agreed about the line needed to be -9.

I wouldn&#x27;t put much stock into the b2b or 3rd in 4th nights.  They&#x27;ve played two 30 point blowouts.   They&#x27;ve completely cleared the bench by the 3Q in each game.  Rest shouldn&#x27;t be a problem at all.&#xD;&#xA;I think the line @ 6 is about right.  It was Denver -9 last night and Denver is much better than Portland @ home.

So if you think the line should be Portland -9 but yet its only -5.5 why wouldnt you take Portland for more Value?  But your taking Knicks &#x2B;5.5 for less value, im trying to make sense of your logic, cuz it just seems like your basis of your pick is to "fade public". @gtrandy , yeah i agree with you on that, i think N.Y is rested and they do play better with Melo , this team is just weird and portland is not really that good. i think line is too high I think N.Y Problem is they have no true leaders and no identity and coach needs to go already ..

Chris Copeland, Kurt Thomas, KMart all starting tonight! Starting! in the NBA! Knicks get murdered. Felton is a joke to begin with, he may drop 12 points though. Portland wins...by MURDER.

I&#x27;m going to have to agree....why anybody would put any money on a team that is FREE FALLING is crazy...I&#x27;d stick with the under personally.  Like mentioned, scoring will not come easy with the players Woodson is forced to use.  Under 193 1/2 is the play, stay away from the side, and don&#x27;t be stupid and bet the ML...GL
