I agree. If the bettor missed the train, they missed the train. Accept it. There will be more opportunities down the road. What baffles me is if people take teams that were double digit dogs before tip off, take them live at MINUS points or a negative money line. I'm just like confused. In my opinion, for those situations, it's advantageous to take the original favorite at a reduced price/spread.
