Apart from the blowout in game 1, this series has seen some close games come down to the wire.
Even the last game went in to the final quarter as a 4 point game with the Spurs leading 81-77 before Kevin Durant and the Thunder caught fire and more-than-doubled the Spurs total fourth quarter points to eventually win it by 14.
With many of their other players struggling in the series so far, the Spurs seem to have been relying on Leonard and Aldridge a bit too much to bail them out. They will need more of their key players to perform if they want to take a 3-2 lead against the Thunder who have really started to gel with fringe players like Waiters and Kanter chipping in and creating a difference off the bench.
I am expecting tonight to be another close game so the points should come in handy. I am happy giving the Thunder, who have shown they can stick with the Spurs on their home court, a 7.5 point headstart and perhaps beating San Antonio at home for a second time this series and taking a crucial 3-2 lead into game 6 which is in front of the intense Oklahoma City crowd.
