OKC game a trap?

This really seems like a trap bet to me...Even then I'm still taking OKC -1/2 for the half. This team is to hot and good right now, and i don't see anyone stopping Durant esp on Memphis. Any thoughts?

Does seem very trap like. Memphis is underrated team and I think Gay will match up well with Durant and Gasol down low with perkins and ibaka. Am leaning OKC though. BOL gmen

One way of looking at this game is like this....Memphis and OKC went to 7 games in the playoffs last year which means the teams are relatively even. Memphis got Rudy Gay back and lost Shane Battier but that is an upgrade. OKC is very good but as far as i know (could be wrong) didn't sign anyone of note.

Memphis being at home and getting 1.5 seems like the "sharp" play..but these early season games have been relatively unpredictable so who knows.

 I think the line goes up to atleast 2 too so if you like memphis i would wait..OKC would jump on it now. GL guys.

There's no such thing as a trap bet. Lines are set where they are for valid reasons.

those are two different arguments. although the line maybe set where it should be, that doesnt change that it could be a trap game for a certain team. a game being a trap game doesnt really have anything to do with the spread, in my opinion

I simply like OKC cause they have the best player.  Both teams are good and you can make arguements for either side.  Memphis' nice run in the playoffs last season is what a lot of people will remember.  I'm not seeing that momentum carry on into the start of this season.
