absolutely correct. People look at the analytics and not the actual game being played.  Many many instances last night where I couldn’t believe Gobert allowed a shot to get off or a rebound to be tipped out.  Luka had a tipped rebound out for a second opportunity over the top of Gobert.  Luka slow ass not able to jump Doncic was producing offensive rebounds over Rudy Gobert. I stg some people do not watch the games they just look at the analytics. The mother fucker is 7”3 and he’s allowing that.  You have two jobs.  Disrupt shots and rebound. He can’t even do that well. He’s just a body to be picked on in pick and rolls. 

In the key situations, Dallas knows if he’s switching then he isn’t close to the basket. He can’t get a stop when it counts he just hopes and prays.

I do expect adjustments. Just like they adjusted to Jokic. T wolves will adjust and double off switches or less minutes for Gobert. They have no other choice at this point.

Rudy Gobert is the most overrated player in NBA history. And he will never win a championship. Thats a fact.

Rudy also looks like he was dropped on his head as a kid. He doesn’t have the IQ to compete with star offensive players. 

I guarantee this will be his last ever DPOY. He will never win one over his French counterpart ever again.  Only reason he did this year was because Wemby was a rookie. But if you analytic nerds look at the stats…Wemby cleared him defensively this year.

If you add any 7 footer to an already quality defensive team with lockdown guards…that team is going to be better on defense.

Gobert plus minus was 1 last night. He played an excessive 37 minutes. 

If it weren't for Naz's 3 point shooting the game wouldnt have even been close
