I'm honestly trying to become more careful when I bet. I can't seems to grasp how to control just laying 2 or 3 bets instead of 9 to 10 bets a night haha. Like last night nba man I just kept going must've put in like 15 bets by the end of the game. And realized after man I should really choose 2 or 3 and slam. So I'm wondering how did everyone decipline themselves to just pick and chose and not play the whole board. Thanks in advance for the advice!

Hahaha. I used to bet a lot of games everyday based upon "expert's picks", hunches and favorite teams. The winning days would alternate with losing days, but the inevitable grinding down by the vig would always take over. The memories of the big wins would constantly feed my blind hope that other big wins were just around the corner. After many years of chasing my dreams, I decided around 9 months ago to limit myself to just one bet a day (any sport) and occasionally two bets when I felt a little reckless. I would limit myself to betting 2% of my account and sometimes 4% if I had especially strong feelings about a game. I have to admit that I don't win much but it's nice to feel little pressure during my wagered games and to watch games with a relaxed attitude and not wanting to "kick the dog" after a bad betting day. The big picture is to keep in mind that very few bettors win enough to make a difference in their lives while the majority lose a lot and have constant sour looks on their faces with angry spouses in the background.

The key for me in winning isn’t to be betting on parlay or to many games a night. In my days back I use think Bet small,Win Big and all I did was parlay with many other games maybe 6-12 games a night wasn’t to successful, I noticed I’ve been donating most of my bankroll plus the percentage is very low. When you do hit, I think you won but in reality long term i really loss a lot of money,Then a wise man had told me hows to beat the books in betting so I can have a better chance in cashing.I understand if ppl like to bet for fun and enjoying watching these games 5-15 games a night but for me Boss I play to win no time for fun fun.
1-3 games single and action reverse Is the way to roll for me.
Money Management believe in the system and should have a nice yearly bankroll Boss .
Believe in QUALITY over quantity.

Thank you sir for your insight. It is very true about winning big once and thinking another big Win is just around the corner haha. I always have that hope and at the end of the week I'm in the negatives LOL! But much appreciated for your thoughts!

Yoo! Thank you for this. It's amazing cause I follow your thread a lot and see your picks even if they don't hit I like the reasonings behind your plays. And even I follow and lose I'm not mad cause you did Ur part in the analytical part.
Did the wise mad say bet against the public? Lol cause sometimes I'm just dumb bias and pick the team I actually like and usually that doesn't go well.
Perfect example yesterday I loved Celtics to win and all day read cover threads and then I faded the public even tho I didn't really think Mil would beat them let alone straight up. Fade the public.... Haha
