Keep em coming... like i said, im going to repost this during the playoffs. It will be interesting to see who was on the money or how way off we are if a mystery team comes out of nowhere.

2nd choice: BOSTON CELTICS NBA CHAMPS 3rd choice: LAKERS Repeat.
Many think the acquisition of Carter was a step backwards for Orlando but i actually think it was a significant move improving the team. Carter is a proven scorer and can create his own shot off the dribble more effective than Turkey-Glue and will average more pts than Jerk-With-Glue. The addition of Barnes, Bass & J-Will will prove highly significant to the depth of this team & Nelson back on the job as Leading PG without any injuries is a far more solid choice than Skip which is why they got rid of him.
I think it's tough to beat an even more hungrier team who were runners up in the finals a season prior - that is a big factor to why i chose Orlando to win it all. This will be an extensive playoff experienced squad and will be far more hungrier than seasons past. Howard is improving by the season and now he is surrounded with guys that has improved the team. Remember Orlando still won convincingly vs Cavs spite of all the soft calls on Howard & LA won last year from being even more hungrier from the season prior when they got embarassed by Boston & now Orlando are in the same spot LA were last season. The Magicians will be deadly this season.
LA LAKERS/KOBE finally got the monkey off his back & won a ring without Shaq, he is satisfied!!!! obviously would like to repeat but he will have watered down the fire a bit. I don't really see the same hungry Kobe as last season but will still be a tough team to beat & a tough player to guard.
BOSTON, if all can stay healthy i think if they don't take it this season and do make the finals as i predict i think they have a better chance the season after. They are in the predicament of having to face a hungry Orlando squad who happened to lose to just a very hungry KOBE/LA squad the year prior so i think Boston will have their hands full with trying to defeat Howard & crew but no doubt if KG can stay healthy they have a great chance to take the east.
CLEVELAND CAVS - The whole Shaq acquisition is all just show biz & hype to me. They have added more depth but there's just something about Lebron that i don't trust. Maybe the whole poor sportsmanship thing or the big ass ego thing but there's just something about him that tells me his just not ready to win one just yet. Cavs may fall short of ECF again this year.

5 teams who are above the pack but only 2 out of the 3 in the east will make it.
West
Lakers vs. San Antonio
East
Boston vs. Orlando (sorry cavs.. orlando is stacked on the bench and boston has garnett back)
Lakers vs. Boston
Boston winners... i feel lakers will have to play more games in a tougher western conference which will tire them heading into the finals. ( Remember houston last year brought the series to 7 games without yao and mcgrady. Thats pretty lame for the champs.)
