Tonight I like a couple of games

Bad spot for OKC tonight. Another player (Roberson) went down last night. Will and courage can only get you so far. Reggie came back and played 41 minutes in his first game back from injury and now he has to go again tonight. Can’t see how he will be effective in this game. Toronto guards are going to have a field day. Very hard for me to see OKC keeping it anywhere close to 10. I would grab the line now as I see this has nowhere but up to go by game time.

Miami and Houston is going to be a game.

Houston has surprise many with their defense they have given up 90-93-90-93 in the first 4 games, while putting up 104 three times and 108 in the other. Ariza has filled in nicely for parsons on the offense end and is playing much better D than parsons.  The big thing that I see from them is the 2^nd chance points. They have outrebounded everyone they have faced so far. They are playing at a slower and more deliberate pace than last year, they average about 75 possession per a game while the opposition is averaging about 83. They play a slow game and beat u on the glass.  They miss the cover last night by a ½ or some got a push on line. So they are 3-1 ATS and because of their defense the under is 4-0.

Now Miami has not been a slouch, they have risen up to the challenge and is playing inspired basketball just as I thought they would. They are 3-0 ATS and the over is 3-0. Many forgot that Bosh was the go to guy on the raptors and wade was the go to guy on the heat prior to Lebron coming to town. Bosh could have easily jump ship like Lebron did and gone to Houston for another Big three but he stayed because I believe he wanted to be the man again. He has not disappoint in the first few games. Averaging 25 and 11 and winning Eastern conference player of the week. 

Miami is actually averaging more points on Offense than Houston. They are averaging 109PPG and Hou is averaging a little over 105 but Miami defense is giving up more points. Their opponents are averaging close to 98 points per a game on them and hou is giving up a little over 91. Surprisingly Miami has been good on the glass this year. That was a focal point for them this year as in the Lebron days they were getting beat on the glass.

So lots of good points for both teams as they are both playing well. Miami has had problems checking Howard in the past. Last year he put up 21-14 and 22-16 but a lot of times Bosh wasn’t on him last year. So tonight Bosh and he will be playing each other. So that will be a good battle. Luol will be on Ariza so nice battle there are well. The issue I see is Wade can’t check Mr. Harden. Wade is a great player but doesn’t have the speed to keep up with the younger guys. Demar dropped 30 on him 2 nights ago. Harden will win that battle.

I don’t have a line on this game yet but figuring Rockets should be getting at least a bucket so leaning that way.

Adding another play

Bulls and magic. Line for the o/u is 191. Magic D has been decent to start the season. They still lack scoring and playing the bulls D is not going to help their cause. butler is back and played like a star in the last game. Magic big Vuceciv will not be a beast tonight on the glass. So don't expect many 2nd chance points for them.

I am aware of the B2B and I did take it into consideration. I see the line is 1.5 but local still hasn't put one up for me.  Last year these teams played some real close games and both winning on their home floor but both games could have gone either way. I have the feeling the Rockets want this game bad to show Bosh up for spurning the deal.
