So I guess Lonzo and Rondo will just pass the ball to each other because neither one likes to shoot.  Stupid move imo

You got the 1st part correct..Ball is gone...No way you can pay Rondo $9 million as a back up PG.....However no way they can sign Cousins...No cap space unless he takes a major discount.  You cannot go over the cap to sign a free agent..only to sign you own players.

Also cannot trade for Kawhi unless equal $$ is being sent to the Spurs...You cannot take a recently signed free agent player until half the season....Looks like no Kawhi.

Ingram 6 million and Deng's 18 million. Lakers can clear an extra 24 million

Deng will count as 3.5 million hit this year if stretched for 5 years...They just added Rondo @ $9 Million...Ball is $7 Million assuming he is gone = +$2 Million....They are still short.

If they deal Ball it will simply crystallize how incompetently this team has been run for 5 years now. So far Randle, Russell, Lance, and now Ball will now have been dealt. Meanwhile if they had drafted right they could have had KP3, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum.

I dont see a reason to keep Ball unless they want to groom him and learn from Rondo. Doesnt hurt to keep both actually if Magic is thinking longterm and looking at a 10 year window  afterLBJ's contract is up s
