Really surprised he jumped, trying to win the title the easy way. Thought he had a stronger character than this.  Left Westbrook hanging.  He will regret it.

 Why would he regret it? Wouldn't you want to get out of okc if you could?

Westbrook is a free agent after this season....    was Durant guaranteed that Westbrook wouldn't leave him hanging?   What if Durant signed a max deal then Westbrook bolted?  Everyone would say Durant was an idiot.

If he committed to OKC Russ would have done the same, they had everything they needed to win there.  Now even IF he wins with Gs it won't feel the same as if he won it at OKC, this will never be his team.

Besides you don't do that to your brother , someone you built the team with, went to war with for years. Sweat blood tears together and now you go to join your biggest enemy?   Where's the commitment???competitiveness in him??? Westbrook would never do that.    Dispicable act.

im pretty sure it'll feel just fine...being labeled an nba champion and having champagne poured over you....i doubt he will be too sad,dont really think players differentiate....like"oh.i'd really like to win a ring here under these conditions.....but over there??..mmm,not so much"..

Really???  I have watched that team for years and rooted for them... but they do not have the pieces needed to win a title, because they don't know how to move the ball... and that begins and ends with Westbrook!  As great of a player as he is, he does not play the kind of ball that wins championships, and he was drowning Durant in that see of selfish basketball!

Now KD gets to play with basketball players who understand what it means to play as a team... and if you play basketball, I can't even fathom how you can not appreciate wanting to do that!

Even if he never wins another title... he will get to do something very few people in any occupation get to do:  LOVE HIS JOB EVERY DAY!!!

I guess it's safe to say the NBA will never have the same Parity the NFL does..  It know Adam Silver has stated that in the past but wow...

Tune changed a lot for some in this thread from when LeBron left.  I will save everyone I know its different, expect it is the exact same. 

He left because he thinks it will be easier to win Championship with GWS nothing else.

its absolutely mind boggling wat these idiots are saying....they wud have been the same ones saying "durant wud never do this" just a few short years ago when lebron bolted to miami.

Durant stayed OKC long enough he wants to win a ring.  The only bum here is you for  making this thread.  KD wants to win a ring he could care less about how you feel.

I think he is good friends with Iguodola and Curry.  Something about them going to chapel service together when they were on Team USA.

OKC stood no chance to win regardless. He didn't do anything wrong by trading. The thing he did wrong was signing that contract in the first place!
