Could someone answer me this. At both LA games the spread was right at 6 points. LA covered one game and Boston the other. Shouldnt Boston be favored by 6 or so considering that or does Vegas just understand that LA is a better team. All you celtic backers get on board, but you're on the wrong side, TAKE THE LAKERS (Don't think KOBE has forgotten his last appearance in Boston in the Finals, they got beat by 37 points) Oh sweet revenge tonight!!

The Lakers will always have their lines inflatedor deflated for that matter just like the Cowboys in football & Yankees in baseball.

that's not how Vegas works... i think you are trying to rationalize fishiness...

in the regular season, Homecourt advantage is worth 3.5 points... in the playoffs, Homecourt advantage is worth 4.5 points...

LA (-6) at home = LA (-1.5) on a neutral site = Bos (-3) at home

 

couldn't possibly be any less fishy...

home courts "worth" in pt spread is totally dependent on team and varies with team...may be 2, 3, 2.5, 4, 4.5 its a variable....but when someone says line is "fishy" it is in their mind and Vegas has em "trapped" by a faulty logical deduction....people think it should be more so they jump on LA thinkin Vegas wants em on Boston by putting out short number.....Reality is Vegas gets you on LA and therefore cleans up when Boston shuts down Kobie Company

Same can not be said for Boston

that is why the line was 3 pts higher in LA
