Everyday I'm on here following great cappers and seeing different inputs from different angles and apply them to the bets I make. It's awesome, however I've noticed that when we have a good capper, with better than usual records/systems they seem to "disappear" from this forum one way or another. I'm not going to drop any names yet, just wanted to ask.
Have you guys experienced similar observations??
By following I don't mean tailing, but I definitely like to hear what some have to say and in many cases see an angle I could've easily missed. A lot of ppl on here doing this for much longer than I have, and I'd be lying if I said their input doesn't have an affect on my betting decisions at times.
Maybe covers makes them disappear b/c they don't want competition. But there's a lot of guys with winning records that have lasted awhile.
IMO, there's 2 reasons why people disappear.
1. Tout. They come here to attract customers, get a decent herd following, and then sell picks. That's a huge no-no here.
2. Trolls. It's human nature that people hate criticism. Even from some random, anonymous person on the Net. And it's inevitable that any good capper loses. That's when the haters and trolls come out and make good cappers leave. If you're, on average, giving winning picks, why would you want to listen to people bitching at you?
