My take on it- Reverse psychology. Vegas does this all the time. So really nothing new here, they flip flopped the line. OKC should be -3 so they flip it, make us over think it and get us on the wrong side.
OKC ML to me is the best play here, I dont see OKC winning 3 in a row in san antonio, so this is a MUST win for OKC and they know this. Whoever wins this game wins the series. So OKC will win this game. Don't let the line throw you off the bet.

Books, sharps, and public were all over Spurs from the get go. Not going to change here just because of 1 game. I expected the Spurs to open around -2. Thunder will be doubted in game 6, in game 7 if it reaches that point, against the Warriors in the next round, and against the Cavs in the Finals.
Nobody believes in the "2 man team". Everyone will be proved wrong however

Vegas is trying to attract OKC money....the line is obviously not accurate of what has transpired in the series so far. They are picking a side that they think will win, the Spurs and practically begging you to take the Thunder.
A general rule of thumb with about a 55% success rate is to do the opposite of what Vegas is enticing you to do. Does that mean the Thunder can't/won't win game 6? Not necessarily. Vegas loses some of the time too......they're killing it this playoffs so far on totals as the public has backed overs about 75% of the time and the games have gone over less than 34% of the time. Favorites have covered 55% of the time, so for this playoffs Vegas has lost against the public in side betting who usually backs favorites.
The Thunder have been better this year than they've ever been as their big men tandem has produced defense and rebounding. Russell Westbrook has lifted the entire team,...he's inspiring to watch even when he shoots poorly. Something that has changed is they are sharing the ball and getting easy points. No one's going to stop Westbrook going to the hoop,...what he does with the ball when he does so has changed for the better. Aldridge is not close to what Tim Duncan has been to the Spurs the past few years and Aldridge is going to have to become a force in the next game, or two....my opinion is that he is not a winning player, but maybe he'll convince me otherwise when it really counts.
It'll be an interesting game 6 and possibly game 7. I'll be taking the under in both games if it gets that far, and probably sitting out playing the sides.
