I've lost so much hard earned money on sports gambling. I'm sure you have too. I finally had enough and closed my account for good. If you too feel you have a gambling problem take the first step and accept you'll never "win it back". That money I've lost should have paid the rent, or gone on a holiday of a life time .... Perhaps but towards my kids education. There is NO way to predict the out come of a sports game. To those who read this and if you are a problem gambler do the right thing for yourself and your family. Good luck every one.

Man and what about your English?
You're = You are.
Your ignorance is painful, if it weren't for the Red Army you also would be speaking German.

Gamblers who give up and throw in the towel like this is always a result of poor money management. If you follow the game daily, stay objective and never chase impulses, you'll win.

I'm proud of you for doing something positive about it. Most people lose in the long run. Many won't admit it, especially on this site. Stay strong and fight the urges if they come up. Life will be better without it. You will probably start to appreciate it your family more without gambling being part of your life. Best of luck to you.

"There is NO way to predict the out come of a sports game."
This is simply not true. You were not good or smart enough of a sports handicapper to win money. It is a very small percentage, but there are people like myself that can turn a profit betting on sports, but we are few and far between.

Cannot believe you have the audacity to mention politics when you clearly don't know anything about history let alone bringing it up on a thread about gambling based purely on someones nationality ! For 95% of us (gamblers), gambling is best approached as a form of entertainment.....similar to going to a movie or going to a theme park to ride roller coasters. When I was younger, I would bet $500 a game while having 1/10th of the financial net worth that I have today. Now with a 1000% increase in net worth, I wager $100 or even $50 a game as a form of entertainment. When I win, it makes the dinner and a movie with my girlfriend more fun when a game goes final. When I lose, I still gain the entertainment value.
5% of gamblers make money betting on sports. 95% have no shot at outrunning the vig. Don't risk the rent, education fund or vacation fund on the chance that you are among the 5%.
Gamble for entertainment, invest for wealth!

Completely agree. This is how most look at it. They love sports and are so entertained by it. You can go spend $25-50 at a movie or theme park, etc. or you can spend the same amount of money betting on a game, get the same or better entertainment out of it, and have a decent chance to actually win your money back and more. Obviously not everyone looks at it this way, there are complete degens and people who gamble not for the love of sports, but alot of people do it for pure entertainment.
