I really think when his career is all said and done, he will be at least top 3 point guards of all time. He changed the NBA for the next century and he's been able to lead the greatest team of all time and consistently provide them with a boost when they need it the most. I really want to say he will be #1 of all time after his career but still truly unsure.
His legacy and influence will for sure be one of the best in history
What do you guys think about it? and this open-minded about it and realize all he's done to the league...

He’s the best ever. If you were starting a all time 5 team ur not picking magic over him. I also said this 4 years ago and people called me crazy, that number of people has dropped by 60% and I except it to drop another 30% if he can win his first finals mvp

Hard to say because he's really a shooting guard in a point guards body...He is the best scoring PG ever...
Scoring your right about, but I think his IQ is very underrated, I rarely hear about it probably because everyone thinks there is no playmaking needed on a team with 4 stars but also I would say most top pg in the nba feel more like shooting guards nowadays

You don't here about it because Draymond is more known as the playmaker. And several people on the team can bring the ball up and run the offense. He's a decent playmaker though. Not a Jason Kidd, John Stockton playmaker but decent. I would put Magic over him but people are prisoners of the moment. I would agree with Dave that he's the best scoring PG of all time.

This! He will go down as the best shooter of all time. The best PG is a title that noone in the near future will take away from Mr. Earvin Johnson Jr.
Thats the thing, its about the time, if your keying into the 1980-90s then Magic is the standout, but if your focused on now and the future you have to pick steph because of how the game has changed

IMO game has changed for sure BUT not enough to start Steph over Magic in todays game ... Magic in his prime today on the same team as Steph today makes Steph a shooting off guard his days as point guard would be OVER.. Steph better shooter that is it.. Rest of the game Magic in a landslide.. Hell people forget Magic played the center position in a playoff game due to injury to other teammates..

This is true... I think another question is how far could the legacy of steph reach? 5-6 rings? where will he fall on all time scoring list?

No, No, No. I was gonna throw Nash in there because he was a good scorer as a traditional point but when I went back and checked his PPG, even in his peak years, it wasn't as high as I remembered. It's Magic. I don't know where 2-10 falls but I know who #1 is. And i'm a die hard Warriors fan that hates....strongly dislikes the Lakers.

I’ve seen Derrick Rose more in jeans and T-shirt than jersey and shorts at NBA games. Most injured all time, most over-rated all time...yes that’s Derrick Rose.

A lot of great point guards who had more complete games (defense, rebounding). The league right now is a shooting 3s league. Coaches used to want the ball to go the post every possession and only shoot 3s as a last resort, so it is impossible to compare. Also, how would Curry do if he had Pippen hand-checking him all game?
Oscar Robertson
Jerry West
Magic
Isiah Thomas
Stockton
Jason Kidd

Oscar and Jerry west: to hard to compare to steph as many will say the league was easier and less competitive
Isiah and stockton: Their scoring is whats holding them back from being on stephs level
Jason Kidd and steve nash: to greats but Stephs legacy has a hard edge over them in my opinion

Steph's wife is a fat pig. ESPN is the fat pig who promotes who THEY choose to promote in their backroom meetings with other suits from corporate world USA, whether it's MVP or Heisman. Thanks to Steve Kerr's offense, Steph had a career enhancement for his gimmick 3 pt shooting. No thanks ever goes to Steve Kerr. This whole post is fthe result we get rom a mind controlled zombie. Don't watch cable TV folks. This is what happens.
1) steve kerr is big but Mark Jackson is where it all started
2) this has nothing to do with media but everything to do with just watching the playoffs for the past few years
3) your acting like his game isnt all that it is, have you ever watched a game? have you seen what this man can do? I dont know where to start, curry also seems to not get enough creit himself, you're talking upon the media yet they dont talk about him anywhere as much as lebron, harden, greek freek, kawhi, etc...

Says the guy who called Steph a front running chucker who has no effect on games and can't win without KD and blah, blah, blah.... only to have Steph say, "Hold my beer."
We've already established you don't like the guy solely for political reasons but now you've stooped to the new low of insulting the man's wife. How's this? Your wife is a fat pig. Your mother was a fat person and your father was a nameless john. You never had the advantage of a loving father and the influence of a positive male role model, which is why you've developed the way you have.

Yeah, he's easily up to #2 all-time and there's a good debate to be made that he's already locked up #1.
Dude has been the most valuable player in basketball over the last 5 years and, in spite of what the media tells you, the dynasty is built around him. The historically unique way he tilts the floor and creates complete havoc on opposing defenses is what makes the Warriors go. Ringless Kevin Durant joined Curry's budding dynasty...not the other way around. They would have won the last 2 rings with literally any other all-star wing in the KD role. Durant isn't even the second most important player on that team. It's hard for "experts" to give Curry the respect he deserves because he's not traditionally what a dominant player looks like - he's small, fairly unathletic, and goofs around like a kid. But the guy has dominated the league for 5 years and media members have been watching a new game with old eyes. It will be interesting to see how high Curry climbs up the all-time player rankings.

This is a good answer
Also off this, I think people do need to realize how dominant steph would be on another team as well, you cant say that about every star and his impact on the warriors is still completely overlooked. I truly miss the unanimous MVP steph where basketball fans could just love him for his iconic play
