3-0 yesterday with the Clips -9.5, Spurs -8.5 and Spurs 2H -8.5. Spurs were down 13 at half and I figured they'd come back and win the game, but down 19 early in the 3rd I thought the FG line was finished. Wound up outscoring Charlotte 64-27 in the second half. I'll take it.
One play for Sunday and that's going to be the Houston Rockets. I'm waiting to get the bet in because I've seen this down to -5 on a few books. Hoping the public can steam it to -4.5 before tip. New Orleans has been playing great, 15-4-1 ATS over their last 20 and 9-1 their last 10 as an underdog. It looks like these two teams are trending in opposite trajectories, which leaves me scratching my head regarding Houston opening up as 6 pt favorites. Just by looking at this line, it's obvious who Vegas wants you to bet on. New Orleans is the flavor of the week and does deserve some respect, but I see the trendy pick Pelicans being a bloodbath for the public. I think this is a really good spot for Houston to get it together on their homecourt and the opening number just reaffirms my angle.
