Pulled the trigger on Detroit +10.5 -138 after checking with the nerds and came back with a 60.02% probability of covering this spread. Interestingly it only came back 53.45% on 9.
Here are my thoughts:
Older Celtics team coming into back to back games and 3 in 4 nights AND with some travel last night into Boston from CLE.
Home team only winning 2 of last 7 with these teams so I rule out home crowd having much effect.
Boston hasn't had a double digit win against Detroit in 4 games and only 2 times in last 8 over the past 2 years.
Detroits #7 in the league defensive rebounds will come in handy tonight with tired Celtic jumpshooters and the Celts are #30 in offensive rebounds.
Hamilton and Prince definately look at this as a rivalry and these two teams have history going back to the Isaiah Thomas/Lambier/Rodman years.
