Is Steve Kerr serious? I understand the play resulted in GP sustaining a serious injury but serious injuries happen in competitive sports. Brooks was playing hard and making them earn the points at the line. That is a common foul in the Jordan era.
I understand the resulting injury wasn't desirable, but come on Steve. Broke the code? This is playoff basketball. No easy buckets, EVER.

it did look dirty... he wasn't even jumping high enough to go for ball. he really went for a clothesline. the elbow on green looked like an accident though.

GP2 was clubbed on the side of the head from behind. Brooks only jumped high enough to hit his head and didnt make a real attempt on the ball. He left him vulnerable in mid air because he hit him from the blindside. And he's 40 lbs heavier than him. It's a dirty play to a smaller player.
There's a smart way to commit a hard foul. That wasn't it.

I used to play competitive ball & sprained my left elbow on that kind of play and I know how wrong I did it. watch every athletic player landing awkwardly and they will try to land on their back / butt first to save them from injury.

Thank Draymond for the Brooks play. My question, why take out Gary Payton when you can take out Curry or Poole?
Plus the Warriors all of the sudden are saying, "That was definitely a flagrant 2." Oh, now you're bitching. When Draymond Muhamad Ali sucker palm punched Brandon Clark with a right to the nose, and then pulled down with a left to the chin and jersey that was okay? Warriors started it. Memphis finished it. Ask Draymond how is right cheek feels today. He was quieter yesterday cause it hurt to open his mouth.
Draymond is a transcendent defensive player. He does not have to kick Steven Adams in the nuts, break Valuncunus's thumb, punch Labron in the kishkas. Or, maybe he does!

May not have been dirty because lack of intent but it is a flagrant 2 because of the violent, unnecessary, and excessive hit to his head. Watch it in slow motion and tell me you didn’t see that.
And sure it may have been viewed as a hard common foul in the Jordan era but what does that have to do with the current era and it’s rules?

Kerr is weak! Cali soft! He also claimed Currys injury when he stepped on Smarts foot earlier this year was dirty and went on a tirade…it 100 percent was not!
