Now the Warriors have two iso heavy players (Butler and Kuminga) who play inside the 3 point line and are not ball movement/player movement guys! And that’s to say nothing of Green, who doesn’t play any offense.
We about to find out if Steve Kerr can actually coach or if he is a one trick pony riding on Curry’s coattails this entire time! That’s my favorite part about this deal. Is this guy a real coach who can adapt his system to the types of players he has or a fraud.
Spo was able to deal with Butler’s antics and high maintenance ways and get the best out of him somehow. Will Kerr be able to duplicate that? I doubt it very much, but we about to find out.
The Warriors will be trotting out a 36, 35, and 34 year old in their starting lineup with only one three point shooter (Curry). I can’t wait to see the fireworks!

Kerr is an elite coach just like Spo. Now with $111 large , Jimmy can expand his coffee operation to Cal. If he isn't happy now, nothing will
Jimmy's a country boy and I don't think he's gonna like the Bay Area, especially given that the Bay Area kinda sucks now. This is not going to spring board them into title contention this year, and next year, your nucleus will just be that much older. I'd rather they just tanked.

You are right. It’s not a good match. I’m fascinated to know what they see in Butler that could help their team. Unless it was all for ratings and bringing people to the arena.

I think it's desperation. I think Joe Lacob has come to realize that his "two timelines" scenario, or whatever he was calling it, was never gonna work. So now he's desperate to win one more with Steph. They pursued a Kevin Durant reunion. He wasn't interested. Jimmy Butler was the next option, even though he had made it clear he didn't want to be a Warrior. I guess money talks.
NBA championships are won in the draft, not at the trade deadline or in free agency. The Lakers bubble championship was the only recent departure from this norm. The Warriors probably won't win again until they suck really bad for some years and get some lottery picks. Butler is still a talented player but he doesn't solve the Warriors woes. Personally, I would've rather kept Wiggins who has been inconsistent but is equally as talented, if not more. And he's 29.

Wiggens and Butler almost have the same stats. Butler is a dog and comes through in the clutch but at 35 he is not worth twice Wiggins salary. Add to it the fact that not many people in the Bay wanted him here and even the Warriors laid a big egg tonight after hearing about the trade and this has the makings of a bad situation.

Butler took Miami to two finals. He's worth twice as much as Wigs. Wiggins was amazing in that last finals run. That's his apex. Butler's a wild card. I think he'll shock. If they stay healthy, and that's a big if, this team could make a run.

you should see Wiggins' interview, the body language and the "it's just a business in NBA you get trade". Like he had been sent to a pent state, a non-contender team but still get millions $ pay cheque.
I have spoken ….

Warriors blew smoke up his butt. He delivered with a championship. He’s no jimmy butler in so many ways. Dedd see desperate owners kicked him to curb. They wanted Kuminga.
