Maybe he got choked up by that pregame ceremony honoring Kobe. The whole thing is absurd. Clippers are the stepchild of the Los Angeles basketball scene and are trying to suck up to the fans by honoring Kobe and then they go out there and lay an egg and show the fans through their play how they really feel about him: i.e., they could care less.

balmer doesn&#x2019;t have the basketball brains or family legacy that the buss&#x2019;s have. The clippers will never be what the lakers are. The lakers have been in the business for a very long time and have been winning championships and have extended a tradition of bringing world class players. Balmer can have all the money he wants, but it doesn&#x2019;t buy class or a never ending legacy that the lakers continue to have.
