In Game 3 I predicted that the Cavs would win outright and they pulled it off by hanging on after dominating most of the game. Today we have a line that clearly favors the Warriors but that raises a big question of why?
Line came out at GS -2.5 and has been pounded up to 4 since then. While I can understand why the public has decided to continue to pound the Warriors my eye test makes it is difficult for me to just on their bandwagon and lay points on a team who hasn't shown me much all series. Despite a solid 2nd half in gym 3 the Warriors still couldn't hit the big shot to win the game and were consistently out hustled by the Cavs. While fatigue certainly could play a role here I believe that a day off inbetween games certainly will rejuvenate the Cavs and their younger core of players.
Lebron will not allow his team to take this game lightly or relax. As important as game 3 was, game 4 is equally as important because the Cavs know that they do not want to give back home court advantage to a team who has been dominant at home all season.
Once again Vegas will be on the Cavs and I believe that getting +4 and the best player in the world on his home floor is a gift that is being hidden in plain sight because of the blind faith from Warriors supporters. Everyone thought that game 3 was a trap for Cavs bettors because they went from a fav to an underdog. In reality, the only trap was the books hindsight to know that they would get a boatload of Warriors action regardless of the number they put out. Same situation goes for tonight, only this time Warriors supporters are willing to play an even higher number because they believe in conspiracies that the NBA and Vegas are pulling strings in an attempt to drive up ratings and extend the series to 7 games. I'm not buying that and I will continue to wager my money on the team who has shown they want it more. To me that is clearly the Cavs.

Didn't play it personally but hard to think Lebron doesn't get 35+ again tonight. He has already made it clear that he has no problem taking as many shots as he needs to to help his team win.

Give us this situation 1000 times and we will be well into the green. Plus 4 is just a total joke of a line and will provide even more motivation for James.
I think we will see a much more energized start from Golden State after Draymond Green basically called out the entire team (including himself) for a lack of hustle. I LOVED his speech.

Totally agree! I think Kerr will be preaching a fast start tonight which is exactly what they tried to do in game 3 but they just couldn't hit a shot in the first half. Cavs will def be aware of that though and try to slow it down to their pace.
One other thing I forgot to mention as an additional motuvating factor that not many people are talking about is the fact that numerous Cavs players are heading into free agency and playing for new contracts. Playing well at the highest level of a championship series goes a long way at the negotiating table in the offseason. We see it all the time with athletes in contract years. These guys live their money and when they have a chance to make more of it many of them are able to find another level of play and get it done (i.e. Delledova, Mozgov, Thompson)
