Milwaukee is playing like the democrats. I can’t understand why they are 8.5 favorites?
wtf am I missing?
@L3onedust
There’s no system that speaks to how hard the Raptors have been playing this season and giving everyone they’ve played a run for their money. Factor in MIL’s struggles this season and Dame out with a concussion, it’s Raps or pass here. Hopefully Quickley plays tonight, he’ll be a nice boost.

@masterkush
As presently configured, the Raptors are quite simply one of the worst teams in the NBA. e.g. With 3 mins left in the 4th quarter, tonight's game might actually be close (+/- 3 pts) but, then, in the remaining time, the Bucks could very easily score more than enough points to get the cover (-7.5) ... because Toronto's late game offensive decision-making and execution are simply atrocious. Stay completely away from this game.

@KarmaSweeps
Did Toronto cover the number when they played SAC or LAL? No, they did not. This is the final game of their 5-game road trip. They are travelling west to east.
As suggested, stay completely away, or ... if you must ... at least, go with the 'Dameless' Bucks, who should be playing 'up' tonight without him, and will almost certainly be playing 'harder' by the end of tonight's 4th quarter than the ('little-engine-that-could' but, assuredly, 'road-weary') Raptors.

@masterkush
In what way was the late cover by LAL 'misleading'?
Yes, Toronto covered vs LAC. But, what exactly did that signify?
As currently constructed - and, despite the fact that they usually try & do play hard - the Raptors are one of the worst teams in the NBA.
Dame is out; and, Giannis is angry.
My suggestion ... stay away.

I’m just saying teams rarely cover both games of B2B.
Fatigue usually plays a factor in the 2nd game. Raptors ran out of gas and the Lakers smoked them in the 4th.
We have 3 games with a 8.5 line. 1 of these 3 games are not covering. I’m trying to pinpoint that game.
Love the discussion and opinions guys…. Remember it’s the books against us.

@masterkush
I agree. I'm considering all three games with those lines. Most likely taking one dog with the points. The Raptors may not have a winning record, but they have been a covering machine.

Good thread and good discussion Kush. We are not against each other we are against the books and sometimes we need to see what is in front of us and what is happening. The Raptors won't win tonight but can keep it close. They don't quit and as GMC alluded to they don't have a late game closer. We cannot ignore them being 8-2 ats in the last ten and the Bucks being 3-7 ats during the same span. Good luck to the forum tonight.

@Appleton43
Those dual ATS records should indicate that the Bucks are actually the correct (i.e. good value) side to be on this evening. Therefore, stay away.

Great discussion guys
GMCsports was correct with the stay away comments
I wouldn’t have thought Portland would be the team that covers the 8.5. Glad I just took the night off.
Hope everyone made some money and whoever lost, we will get them tomorrow.
