OK. Quick write-ups.I don&#x27;t think much of this Raptors team, and this is the last chance I&#x27;m giving them on the big stage. To me, they are a leaderless team (Leonard is no leader and neither is Lowry) that lacks the kind of chemistry and killer instinct that winning/championship teams need to have. The last three times this team has been on the national TV, in a big game, they have failed, and failed miserably:At SA, they got blitzed.At Boston, they failed yet again.At Houston, they could not beat an undermanned Rockets team.Loser, Loser, Loser. Well, now they get a chance to redeem themselves a little against the top team (record wise) in the league on national TV. If they let the Bucks beat them twice at home, then this team will likely go out in the second round (imo). If you are a real contender (and not just a pretender) you cannot allow a team you are likely to face in the playoffs come into your house and beat you twice. Simple as that. So if the Raps don&#x27;t bring it tonight, they&#x27;ll never bring it. And that you can count on.Now for the Spurs game. When Pop calls his team out after a lackluster performance, I listen. The guy is a master motivator and knows what he is doing. He knows these are the dog days of the NBA and his team needs a little jolt before the all-star break. So what does he do? He rests DeRozan for a few games and then inserts him back into the lineup when they need him most. He lets his team mess around against the Suns, the calls them out before a much tougher road team comes to play them tonight. Unfortunately for the Nets, and fortunately for us, they are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights after traveling to Boston then back to NY to beat the Bulls (in a hard fought game) and now SA. If there was ever a spot for these road warriors to have a letdown, this would be it, as they play a western conference foe they don&#x27;t see often and/or have a history with.Good Luck

I got huge parlay on both of these. I agree with you on everything with one small thing to add. The raptors play at whole other level at home. And they did just beat the bucks in Milwaukee. I think the raptors break out big here. Took crushing loss yesterday when I was foolish to back the visiting jazz. Good luck to both of us.

One last thing to add about this game. The Raptors have a chance to send their coach to the all-star game if they beat the Bucks and the Bucks lose their following game to the Washington Wizards. It&#x27;s unlikely, but you would think that at the very least the team will want the coach to have a shot at it. We will see...

Tough one BB.. I live in Toronto and am a raps fan.  This team isn&#x27;t going anywhere.  Lowry disappears as usual, and everyone here knows Kawhi is walking at the end of the season.  Can&#x27;t trust the raps in any big games.  Same old soft team.

The captors are who we thought they were: losers. I wish I had taken my own advice. This team is leaderless, rudderless and lacks an identity, or its identity is like those of its stars: mercurial. They certainly don't play with any cohesion, and there is little joy in their game. They play more like mercenaries or hired guns, and when they come up against a real army, a cohesive unit where the team is more than the sum of its parts, a team with players that have real love and empathy for each other, as well as their coach/leader/general, they fold like a cheap suit and/or run the other way. This gutless bunch will be a great fade come playoff time...

As far as the Spurs go, it was just a bad matchup for them. The Nets are not a team (as presently constructed) that the Spurs have seen, played, or know much about, and that, along with Derozan's rusty play, really sunk this bet. But these were problems I should have foreseen, so no excuses, just my sincerest apologies.
