This is a weird matchup for the Spurs obviously but no #8 seed in the history of the NBA is "just better" than a #1 seed. Things just happen in pro sports sometimes and Dallas is still only up 2-1, they may win the series (I still doubt they will) but to say theyre "just better" is a little foolish imo. Realistically no #8 seeds are "better teams" than the 1 seed

The 7th and 8th seeds in the west are not true 7 and 8&#x27;s..... Especially Memphis. Dallas is a 50 game winner (or 49). This team clearly knows how to win.

Monta Ellis too much rage for the French. Spurs greatest strength which is their bench is a no show so far in this series.

Lets also not forget guys that take away a fallaway three pointer at the buzzer and Spurs are up 2-1 and all is fine. Its obviously a tough matchup, as every series in the west is.

Hypotheticals go both ways. Mavs keep it close tonight, probably lose, but wouldn&#x27;t be surprised if they win this one and the series. Like it was stated above, this team knows how to win, and they don&#x27;t belong as an 8 seed.
