Warriors @ Wiz should be a good one

Warriors have been great in revenge spots against lesser teams. Not to mention they almost beat Boston and did beat Philly in revenge games. This is not only a revenge game but they also feel like they let one get away in losing to the Wiz at home. So it’s also an atonement game. But with Curry garnering so much attention lately, you have to think Westbrook (who absolutely hates Curry and the Warriors and has lots of history with them) and Beal (who is now behind Curry in scoring average) will be focused and ready for this one. My initial lean was Warriors, but this game could go down to the wire and sharps jumped on the Wiz at +3 yesterday. Get your popcorn ready. 

agreed. only reason i cant pull the trigger is wizards is cause westbrick and beal have every reason to be motivated this game...warriors, on the other hand, is a 1 man show...but what a show it has been lol

mmm,i sense a slight ambush here for warriors bettors..all we have heard about in hoops news for weeks is curry curry curry..obviously on the surface of it its an even matchup but i suspect a lot of betting will come in on the warriors with all that hype and momentum.

I like the Wizards here. Westbrook is a triple double machine right now.They have the more complete team with two solid guards and a couple 7 footers. The Wizards aren’t playing with teams. Ball movement is far better than that of the Warriors. Bertans comes in hot after the birth of his child and Gafford is quietly creeping in the mix and fills in well for Hachimura who is out. I may leave this one alone though. 

Warriors revenge = Warriors win.... that simple. "Sharps" jumped on wiz because of the "history" same way they jumped on Charlotte yesterday because of the "history". Wizards aren't good enough to do well in this spot and beat Warriors twice thus winning six in a row. End of the road for them and end of the road for Warriors vs Denver. 

I had the Warriors winning this one and losing to Denver as well. But we’ll see. The dynamics have changed because of all the recent publicity with Curry and the Warriors. Suddenly this is must see TV, even if it’s not nationally televised. Highlights will be all over sports center. And Beal and Westbrook will want to one up Curry. Motivated athletes are scary. I lean Warriors. But this won’t be easy. 

'tough' game but easy result. Warriors win. Wizards are who they are. As a DC native I can certainly say that. Bookies finally have the Wizards backers right where they want them. Money coming in on them into a revenge game that 10/10 they don't or won't win. I will not be shocked at all if Wiz drop the revenge game to OKC as well. 

Looking at the schedule, Warriors next 3 games will be nationally televised!! League has HUGE incentive tonight to keep this great story going. That means Curry continuing the streak of 30 point games (even if he needs free throws to get there ) and also the Warriors winning. This seems like one of those situations where what the league wants to see happen trumps what the books want.

Yeah. I think public wins this one but I would recommend taking the ml just in case. We have had a lot of one point games lately. More than I ever recall.

What a meltdown! They just needed to be decent in the 4th, and they were awful. Knew the game would 

What a meltdown by the Warriors in the last quarter. Knew it would be close, but to lose it that way. Curry just had to be decent. Instead he was awful. 

Damn, that was a stressful one.

Everyone started celebrating the Wiz win early by 2nd Quarter before they gave up the 18 point lead and were trailing into the 4th.

Curry went 7 for 25 and Wiggins went 5 for 20 from the field.. tough loss 

Just imagine, if they just go 14-45 instead of 12-45, they win. That and all the free throws the Wizards got killed them. The officials were either awful or knew exactly what they were doing.  

BB I know you know your stuff so absolutely no disrespect intended but you seem to struggle on your Warriors picks at least lately...I get it I’m a Pats, Celtics, Red Sox fan while I do well on Pats (hard not to the last  2 decades) I struggle on the Celtics and sometimes Sox games as it’s almost like I know too much and over analyze just a thought I know you are a solid capper and yes Curry was horrendous! He doesn’t like me btw lol he go’s off when I bet against warriors and has his worst performances when I’m on them it’s so puzzling! TBH at he Warriors in general kill me! But I did clean up with Toronto series bets 2 years ago finally! 

I said this was going to be a close game and go down to the wire. I said I thought this would be a much tougher game because of all the publicity Curry was getting. In the end I recommend the MlL because of how tight it could get. If on that last steal instead of going to the loser Wiggins for an easy layup and a tie they go to Curry for an open 3 and he hits it, and the Warriors win by 1, I look like a genius. Instead, now I’m a bum and I was way off on my cap, according to you. You should read more carefully next time, no disrespect intended, just a recommendation.

 Geez bro relax I never called you a bum in fact I called you a solid capper...I can read just fine but can you? It was just an observation...sometimes when we are too close to a situation it messes with our capping at least my own that’s all I’m saying...you seem to do really well when Warriors aren’t involved I’ve noticed because I always read your write ups as you always have solid angles. I never blame anyone for a loss if I make a play it’s on me no one else.  

If you are only focused on results, then you are right. But if you focus on process then you are wrong. Nothing regarding how I capped this particular game was wrong. Everything I predicted came to pass. Beal and Westbrook were ready for this game. The Wiz were not going to be outdone by Curry and they went all out to stop him. I even said the game would go down to the wire so take the ML. The only thing I didn’t anticipate, and got wrong, was how blatantly favorable the refs were going to be towards the Wiz. I still don’t know what to make if it, really. You’d think Curry being in the playoffs would be way more valuable for the league than Westbrook and Beal (two losers). But maybe not. Or maybe these particular refs are more beholden to the books than the league and/or the league and the books are one in the same. 

I’d rather see the triple double machine Westbrook and the Wiz in the playoffs than Curry. Come playoffs the Warriors will get eliminated in 4-5 games while the Wiz have the potential to upset someone.
