I’m genuinely curious as to our cappers’ thoughts regarding tonight’s game and the series. Personally, I think Wolves missed two great opportunities in which have completely washed away their achievements in games 1 and 2.

Wondering the same as I am on the Nuggets heavy tonight. Wolves just do not have enough scoring options and it looks like the Nuggets have figured out how to attack their defense. Don't really see how Wolves counter them here and don't see the Nuggets dropping this one at home.

The problem with MIN is that their offense isn't great. Once DEN figured out how to score against their suffocating defense, obviously shown in games 3 and 4, I don't think there's not much upside that MIN can do from hereon. They are what they are now. Outstanding defense, mediocre offense. DEN offense is so good that once they figured out MIN defense, this series seems to be over.

Both seem to have similar takes, and they make complete sense. MIN strong on defense but figured out by DEN’s great offensive capabilities.
I’m thinking Denver and under seems to be the most sensible plays.

why is the line only 4 though? after nuggs last 2 wins in minny shouldn't the line be higher than games 1 and 2? Wolves have 3rd best road win record in the league, 5th best home win record. I haven't counted them out yet. they're winning 1 more game. if not in denver tonight, it'll happen at home next game

@SPark1
I think it’s a combination of a crafted favorable public opinion of Edwards (Wolves) and Jokic (Nuggets) fatigue. It’s baiting the average bettor into thinking it’s going to be another close game. I just don’t see how the last 96 minutes of the series would lead one to think that this game, in this situation, will result in a close finish.

hmm.. if you combined games 1 and 2 and compared it to games 3 and 4, you could say the exact same thing but just switch the teams names in the statement. the narrative went from wolves could sweep the nuggets to wolves lose series 4-2. both teams are going to want to win this game to be up 3 games. that okc line yesterday was suspect in itself

Games 1 and 2 are definitely taken into account, but with more games we receive more data. We can observe how these teams have not only assessed one another, but how they’re executing upon their assessments. It’s started to look a lot like what should have been expected going into the series.

LA has better offense than MIN I believe, but their defense just sucks. Reeves/Dlo guarding Jamal
MIN only advantage in LA is their defense. But now that their defense no longer exists in DEN minds, MIN is screwed. The only big advantage they had, taken away now. Then they have less offense than LA. So, is it safe to say that, they are worse than LA now? lol

Very hard to beat a team 3 times in a row - this is the big game. I have a huge series bet on the Wolves at +165 and added to it at -130 so I’m Very disappointed at this teams play last 2 games . ANT man needs help and the rest of the team knows it . Lean Denver tonight but it’s hard to beat any team 3 times in a row let alone a good one . Denver has a big edge right now so this should be a tough game. Wolves got crushed in game 3 and we’re not impressive in game 4 - There big man sucked and I don’t have much confidence in him now ,

I sometimes think that the 2 big lineup Gober/Kat is hurting them now. THese 2 guys can't freaking score! Now you are only guarding ANT alone. Because these 2 towers are literally just towers, they are statues. NO offense, and NO DEFENSE my goodness. I say they should just take 1 out! They played so well without GOBERT in game 2, they were faster and the offense was better. Gobert looks clueless my goodness. And KAT, always just trying to get a foul instead of making a shot. Always complaining, "where's the foul???" It's so annoying to see it each time he is in the post.

game 3 gobert was non factor, inside collapsed. game 4 was about the bench players more than anything. 27 points to 13. other than reid, edwards had no help. kat shot 5/18, conley was barely any better. the way nuggets ended the half with a 8-0 run in 30 seconds didn't help but wolves still fought back. it ain't over nail in coffin by any means

This game is tough in my opinion, and I keep wanting to make a case for the Wolves with points but I’m not sure. The Wolves heading into the round 2 series had the best offense in the playoffs and after the first 2 games looked great. After that they came back down to earth like regular season (offensively). Where is the #1 defense efficiency in the regular season? Seriously. Last 2 games looked really bad. Gobert sucked.
Last game Joker started bringing up the ball and that threw the Wolves all out of whack. Murray than was open and different pick n rolls were set. It was a great game plan. Nuggets at home are really good too. I’m not so sure Murray is banged up as much. With all this said, it’s hard to win 3 straight and Minnesota’s defense should progress. All road teams have won too. Tough call. I’ve went back and forth. Lean under… maybe a tough game 5 in a tied series.

@MrFreedo
Thanks for your contribution. I do love the under. I just keep thinking about the fact that I don’t have 3 guys on Wolves who can match Jokic, Murray, and Porter when they’re on.

Forgot to mention if Conely is out wouldn’t help the case either but he was present earlier at shoot around. I keep watching his status.

It seems like Anthony Edwards is saving his A+ game for the road. It's as if being on the road in high stakes game brings out that extra layer of assassin in a killer like Ant
