Guys, what should I look at when I research about NBA handicapping? Until now I'm still not good at it. I just rely on the Trends I see here in Covers when I check the matchup and I also check the picks of the "Team Experts" which is not always right. So I know I need to learn more that's why I need your help. :) Thanks!

There are lots of things you need to look into. But here are just the things I know. Not really pro but hope this one helps.
Past games between two team. (If they match up well with the other team, If they are good on the road vs that team or at home vs that team).
Check out schedules. (Back to back) (Playing 4 games in 5 nights) (Overtime and Back to back) (Who is tanking before all star break and who is not, specially with those who have lots of injuries and just want to rest on the all star break).
(Some team has a better schedule this month compared to other team like OKC which I think fading them is not a good idea compared to LAC with an ugly schedule)
Key Players. (More often when Key Players or Stars are out the team tend to step up and play harder so don't easily bite games that are to good to be thrue when stars are out).
Line Movements and Over/Under.(Check out the line movement carefully sometimes line movement moves into the favor of the public which looks like a scary. And check out the Spread and O/U of the game).
Trends.(Trends between two teams). (Like they play good at home vs that team or good at the road. Or they are bad vs good defensive teams or bad against non defensive teams and high scoring teams).
And last.
TRY TO CAP YOUR OWN GAMES. DON'T FORCE PLAYS. DONT JUST FOLLOW, YOU MIGHT REGRET IT.
Goodluck. That's all I know.

Momentum is key. If you can see it in the beginning stages you will have fewer losses.
A team can be on a losing streak and come together then hit a winning streak.
Team chemistry is huge. If you watch the games live you can pick up signals through body language and a positive or negative team atmosphere. The Edmonton Oilers picked up momentum after there loss at home to Dallas in over time.
They are a team to ride. And so I am.
