Giving 24/7 attention to see where millionaires will play and make more millions is just sad. I saw two men fighting for a good hour about where and why they should sign with a certain team. I read articles about how some people missed work to write articles and invest in signs to bring a superstar to their city. Focus on yourself and your career.. Lebron and carmelo does not give a damn about you. You don't have to either. They are the rich getting richer. Sit back and just watch the game don't commit yourself to people who don't even know your name. C'mon guys wake up

It's just the era we are in. I miss the old days before social media. You just got news, not speculation.
If you got ill, do you think Carmelo is going to come visit or call and wish you well? Is LeBron in your fantasy football league ? These guys don't give a damn about you. They don't care that you bet on them and their free throw attempt at the end of the game is enough for your bet to cover, yet they carelessly throw a brick.
As a fan of sport, what's been happening with the fee agency period is not something a pay attention to. Sure it's going or be in my face and I may glance but this isn't why I'm involved.

I agree.. its completely absurd the amount of attention and speculation that goes on with this process. I listen to sports talk radio all day at work and it dominates the conversation.

If it weren't for betting, I wouldn't give a shit about sports. The saddest part in all of this is the fans caring so much about players and teams. The teams don't know who you are. The players who give a shit if you get evicted. There is no "we". I always hear fans say "we" need to get this player or "we" need to do this. If the money flows in one direction(from your pocket to the team/players), there is no we.
And Carmelo and Lebron just provide an entertainment value. They don't improve the quality of life to you or me. It's just entertainment. It's about running up and down the court and putting a ball in a basket. We've seen it thousands of times before game after game, season after season. Yet, people treat it as if it's never been seen before. No wonder young kids', the future of America, scores in math and science are declining. Ball players are making 400x more than the average teacher who are suppose to have a big influences to young people year after year. I've seen fifth graders unable to do division, but ask then about lebron's shoe, they will tell you where to buy them. This is why I laugh when I see nba run a "NBA cares" commercial. What a joke.

Both of them sucks. The time that they left their teams and their reason is that they are looking for a more competitive team and teammates, fuck both of them. Have high respect for both durant and kobe. Thats it.

Its called being a diehard fan. Some people choose to do it, others don't care. Everyone has their own interests. Betting on sports makes less sense than rooting for your team.

I agree 100% that ESPN overhypes the crap out of all this and it will only get worse when they actually sign somewhere. But I do find it funny that you are telling people they shouldn't invest time worrying about free agency yet have invested your time reading articles about how much everyone cares about free agency.
