Why is everyone so big on the grizzlies?

Well for starters that Knicks game wasn't yesterday it was on Sunday so your Conley point is moot.

That's true that is my mistake, but still historically Conley is bad against Lowry and the Raptors. In their last two meetings, Conley has a combined 21 points total, and he has scored 12 points or less in five of their last nine meetings. I just think it's odd to see the hottest team in basketball on a 5 game winning streak, yet almost everyone says they love the Grizzlies. So what's appealing about the Grizzlies?

Because it's a standalone road game for the Raps before they head back home to face Golden State. 

I'm not sure the angle on the Grizz.  But for one they don't need to win here just cover 5 pts.  5.5 now at my book.  Second, they lost at home to a garbage Knicks team where Enes Kanter got 26 rebounds (career high).  No way they don't bring their all tonight.  I assume most are expecting just a close game here if so they should cover.

That's why the 5 point spread seams low. If they lost to the Knicks by 5 when they are home, they could definitely lose by more than 5 to the Raptors who right now are the best team in basketball. Also, of the Raptors 17 wins only two of them have been a 5 point game or less. In other words, they've won 15/17 of their games by over 5 points. I'm  not saying the Grizzlies can't cover just don't get why it's many people's top plays.

That's a good point, they were up 52-43 against the Knicks on Sunday. Maybe Grizzlies +2.5 in the first half is the better play? They were up 52-43 so Memphis did take them serious but fell apart in the second half. I'm gonna stay away from this game but I personally think Raptors will cover in this game.

The Raptors are 4-0 against western conference teams when on the road. I know its -5 or in your case -7.5 but Many of the raptors wins are by more than 5. BOL though.

Everyone on Memphis tonight and everyone was on Utah last night. It's setting up to be back to back bloodbath on covers. I backed pacers yesterday. Raps win but not sure they cover, I don't see why not. Everyone on grizz line moving the other way.

Hey LC do you think its worth the juice to bump up from 5.5 to 6 or even 6.5?
