First of all, I'm currently in LV and every ticket writer I have spoken to said they have been taking lots of money on the Heat. (Do wat you want with this info)
IMO, the Spurs will be crowned as the Champion & will capture their 5th Larry O'Brien Trophy. Spurs are very deep and has one of the best trio for several years in Duncan, Parker & Manu (yes I know Mia has their own trio). Lets start with Manu, no doubt & due to injuries this year w/ Manu he had a so & so season this year. We also saw Manu in the playoffs who may have had a lack luster performance during the playoffs. But I believe the Argentinian will finally have his best playoff series against Miami. He brings a lot of energy from the bench, particularly when playing @ home while the crowd energizes the entire team.
Parker, well this guy is a stud PG & as far as I'm concerned he's not playing against his kryptonite in Westbrook. We have seen Tony grow for several years as one of the best PG in the NBA. To simply put it, there is nobody from Miami that will stop Parker.
Timmay, I know it may sound as a cliche, but his team will rally behind him so he can get another ring before he retires. In addition, the Birdman, Haslem & Bosh won't stop Duncan offensively.
As for the entire team of the Spurs, well lets not forget, they have swept two series in the Lakers & Memphis. Huge accomplishment & advantage in my eyes as sweeping two teams in the playoffs is unreal & doesn't happen all the time. These guys can play any tempo run run run or half court. Why would you ask? Well obviously they are a complete package. Leonard & Green can score in this league and are very young. Their Bigs in the "Red Mamba" can shoot the tre', although he has the ugliest form shooting a Jay.
In Miami, there is no doubt in my mind that these guys simply has the hardest time playing against the "bigs". Yes, it's been proven from the series of Indiana. Miami obviously won game 7 due to the energy of the crowed playing @ home in the 7th game. They are not consistent in winning the rebounding category in which one team must do consistently. You must simply rebound offensively and defensively... The edge goes to the Spurs.
Allen and Battier are not the same anymore offensively. Perhaps their age has caught up limiting them to explode shooting the tre'. I know Allen went off the 7th game of the ECF but I doubt he could do that type of performance consistently.
Coach Pop, how could you go against a HC who is 4-0 in the Finals? I consider Coach Pop as one of the best NBA HC. Perhaps only 2nd to the Zen Master.
Folks, don't fool yourself with taking Miami winning their 2nd Title. They will be EXPOSED by the Spurs and Coach Pop. LBJ will get his points, but I think Wade's knee is really bothering him. Not to mention, this isn't his team anymore & I'm sure he thinks of this.

I'm a Lakers fan too! You're lost, not sure what BBall you have been watching, but Allen isn't the same from wen he was with C's. Dont even include Lewis in the mix, the dude ain't coming out from the bench & won't have an impact in this game. GL to your luv w/ Miami, one of us will win!

manu's skills is far from allen's. ray allens doesn't have the penetrating ability of manu as well as the ability to pass. All allen has is a rusting 3-point artist and its all there is. Don't be so carried away with his game 7 performance against the Pacers. Its just 1 game. Don't be surprise tomorrow if allen struggles again.

But I believe the Argentinian will finally have his best playoff series against Miami. Based on what reasoning or support? He's playing horribly right now. Just all of a sudden turns it around somehow against the best team they've played all year? He brings a lot of energy from the bench, particularly when playing @ home while the crowd energizes the entire team.
Parker, well this guy is a stud PG & as far as I'm concerned he's not playing against his kryptonite in Westbrook. We have seen Tony grow for several years as one of the best PG in the NBA. To simply put it, there is nobody from Miami that will stop Parker. Miami has their own version of a player who can't be stopped.
Timmay, I know it may sound as a cliche, but his team will rally behind him so he can get another ring before he retires. In addition, the Birdman, Haslem & Bosh won't stop Duncan offensively. Duncan is a beneficiary of Parker's decision making whether that be pick and roll or pick and pop. If Miami hedges or shows hard on the pick and roll including Lebron and whomever is guarding Duncan, it'll make it very hard for Duncan to get an open look.
As for the entire team of the Spurs, well lets not forget, they have swept two series in the Lakers & Memphis. Huge accomplishment & advantage in my eyes as sweeping two teams in the playoffs is unreal & doesn't happen all the time. Beating your woeful Lakers and the Grizzlies is meaningless right now. They're playing the Heat, not some other team. The Heat are much better than those other teams the Spurs swept.
So it's proven that Miami can't play against the "bigs", yet they won the series? Wow that's great proof! Also, Indiana's post players in Hibbert and West are big, strong, physical, intimidating rim protectors. Who is going to play that role in this series? TIAGO SPLITTA? FUNNY! Miami obviously won game 7 due to the energy of the crowed playing @ home in the 7th game. Miami ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED the Pacers in Game 7, and to say it was solely due to the crowd (worst crowd ever) and the energy is just silly.
Coach Pop, how could you go against a HC who is 4-0 in the Finals? he has NEVER faced a team as good as this Heat team in the Finals and especially not being the away team in the series. I consider Coach Pop as one of the best NBA HC. Perhaps only 2nd to the Zen Master. ummmmm did he get hired somewhere and the media didn't cover it?

Cliches sound nice, but it ultimately comes down to who executes and controls the game. You've spouted off a lot, now respond to this: How do the Spurs defend the Heat? Do they clog the lane and let the Heat spot up shooters kill them? Do they extend the defense and let LeBron and Wade slash through the lane without a shot blocker on the back line? Do they extend the D then help on a slasher opening up 3 point shots for Miami? How do you see Pop defending them?
My responses in red above.

How many ticket writers have you spoken to? I didn't know they divulge this sort of information to everyone. Care to share which books offered that information?

HB, I will get back to you as soon as I'm able too from the boring meeting I'm currently in.
Let me just say this, Coach Pop adjusted nicely and accordingly defensively against GS. True, LBJ is now a monster from the last time he was swept several years ago by Coach Pop. Again Coach Pop will make a lot of adjustments and as needed to do of same in this series.
Should Miami win their 2nd title, I will be the 1st one to give you some kuddos. Btw, I appreciate also how you see the game and how you think Miami will win the series. Everyone, has their own point of view!

Hoosier, did you notice how Copag responded courteously, politely and without dripping condescension?
Is there really a need to convey your views with such vitriolic tones? Why not just state your opinions without attempting to belittle?
After all, your views and opinions are just that, views and opinions. If your views ultimately are validated by what happens on the hardwood, then you can take a bow and wag your finger, but, prior to tip-off, be a little less confrontational.
Of course, this is just the view of a grizzled old guy. Dismiss it if you like.

I don't think my response was condescending. You may think so, and I may not. It's an opinion you have of me, that's all. So therefore, you're asking me to act in a way that agrees with your opinion, while in the same post saying that we all have our own opinions and views. Interesting.

Everyone and their mother is all over the Spurs. Line movement and everything. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Heat sweep and finish off the conversation of them being the best team of all time. Either way they won't lose at home and LeBron is getting another Finals MVP. Not one. Not two. How many? Who knows....

Majority saying that this Heat will beat the Spurs. Oh really? Just like they beat the Mavs 2 years ago? I consider this Spurs team way better than that Mavericks.
Spurs to win the series!

MrB, I don't play props only in SB. However, you might consider the total assist & points for Parker to go over. I really think Miami will be able to stop this dude. As stated earlier, his Kryptonite is Westbrook.
