Why was Indy favored?

To win this series before tonight? New York was clearly the better squad with the best player on the court even with all their injuries. 

Yes it is super clear after you watch the 1st 3 quarters and the Knicks are ahead by 21. Any other gems? Maybe tell us it was also clearly wrong for the Titanic to speed into an iceberg?

Because much was being made about the Knicks injuries and Indy was coming off a 40 point win - in other words it was a trap

 Knicks have been injured all playoffs. It matters not as they have brilliant coaching and a transcendent superstar.

While I agree with you that OP is a hindsight 20/20 dipstick, isn't the prevailing theory that the Titanic might not have sank or at least sank much more slowly if they HAD sped right into the iceberg? Supposedly the final crucial error they made (besides ignoring warnings they recieved from other ships) was they tried to turn and turned too late, causing the ship to be hit on the bow which had weaker rivets than the hull. If they just went straight in the ship might have stayed intact after the collision.

 Isn’t the bow the front of a ship? The hull is the side. Did you just write that wrong or am I an idiot? Either way interesting fact.
