Why wasn't Gortat playing? There must be a problem between the Coach and Gortat, so you lose a series because you wont play him??? smh.... I can't predict stupidity. Nene was horrible... Missed free-throws, turnovers, shot clock violation, given up wide open layups, = all happened in the last 3 minutes of the 4th=  Bad basketball, Bad coaching!

Good bet Wizard backers, Atlanta was just given this game....


On to the next....

Wizards wasn't the right play. Washington's the worst team left in the playoffs yet they kept it close all series long with a 60 win team. They were due for a big L here. Larry Holmes didn't last the 12 rounds with Mike Tyson, he kept it close and eventually got KTFO!

Nene was beyond horrible and had the chances to put them away. Just awful game all around. Didn't deserve to win

Little do you know... You don't label a play bad or good just by the results, a lot  of variable go into it. So let me guess you knew Washington would miss 3 free throws and Paul wouldn't get the last shot off and Nene would be playing over Gortat, along with Nene being the go to guy late in the game????

Even a broken clock is right two times a day!

You crazy... Washington is the most complete team left. Don't be a prisoner of the moment - They swept the Raptors, they won game 1 in ATL, then Wall got hurt! This series came down to coaching and an injury.  Gortat wasn't in the game late for the second time and look what happened.

its true sometime the right play but it loses

That's what Vegas wanted you to believe so they could take your $$$.

Wall is a very good PG, not a Top 5, series-changing guard. Atlanta was winning this series regardless of his health. The Hawks didn't even play that well and still won 4-2. Normally they'd beat Washington 4-1 with at least 3 of the 4 victories being convincing (e.g. 3 possession or more margin of victory).

I agree, Wall is definitely not a Top 5 PG however he's their floor general= he dictates tempo and is the best player on the team at pic and roll which is their go to play with Gortat. When you lose your floor general, your team tends to lose focus during critical moments in the game.

 Atlanta has played horrible - to be honest the entire Eastern Conference has played bad... This year goes to the West again.
