Brad Stevens is the MJ of coaching. This guy will be a legend when all is said and done. When POP beat LBJ he had hall-of-famers on his team. This guy is doing it with rookies and scrubs.

Totally agree beginnerboy....Stevens is awesome, he'll break every coaching record there is before he's done if he decides he'll stay for 15 years or so. The combination of him and Ainge will set up the Celtics to be a top two team for the next decade, and unless James to goes to a very good team like Philly or to a team with a great coach like San Antonio it's gonna be the Warriors and the Celtics at the top by a mile and then everyone else for the next few years.

I checked the Sports DataBase for the CLV playoffs record starting with the 2016-2017 season, Lue's first full year. CLV outscored their opponents by an average of at least 2 points in each of the first 3 quarters, which would seem to indicate that Lue is capable of making sound halftime adjustments.

CLV has gotten outscored by an average of over 2 points in 4Q. Either Lue blows it in crunch time or LBJ is playing too many minutes.

Stevens must be a pretty damn sharp coach to take out red-hot PHL and dominate CLV while missing two key starters.

not a chance.....  it is either LBJ way or the highway..... when he leaves and goes out west, part of his deal will be picking his coach...
