Post some plays highway before the game starts you might get some feedback or people tell ya to hedge no shame in locking in profit or at least enough to cover the cost of parlays CURRY did give the sign tonight that they werent gonna cover why do you think the end of the game was a little odd????

vegas feasts on you parlay noobs every single day.
when will you guys learn?
People have their own playing styles. i like parlays, straight bets are kinda boring to me. most gamblers think its a waste of money. they might be right, i just think its more fun with the higher payout. i don't really care about losing 200 on a card. oh well. I usually play about 5-8 cards a week and anywhere from 100-500 on a card. more teams, less money and less teams for more money. i really like 4 teams with 500 for 5000 with out any underdog MLs. i usually hit one per week, only once have i hit twice, since the new year. Even 3 teams isn't really fun yet, 4-6 teams is usually my sweet spot, I've hit 7 a few times this year, but they were only with $25 on it. id like to hit an 8 or 10 one day.
My reasoning: i want to win a few thousand a week. i won't be able to go 20-0 and realistically its more like 8-12 for most people. I don't want to bet 500 or 1000 on a single bet and do that over and over. id rather play 1000-1500 worth a parlays a week and try to win 5k+. Since january, I've only had to pay my bookie out twice. as a noob, i think I'm doing ok, i probably stress a lot more than you guys do and my losses can be extremely heartbreaking at times, but when that one card a week hits, its a beautiful thing.
If i actually hit that warriors -13, that would be been my biggest single day payout since super bowl with patriots.
Maybe if i go on a super cold streak, i'll go back to betting straight again.

Warriors 1h lost a 8 teamer for me, college and pro. I did well straight up but who doesn't want to hit a 8 teamer. Should've hedged but three of my college picks started at 7pst, Warriors started at 7:30pst, it just didn't come together. Insult to injury, I was suppose to go to the Warriors game but the tickets fell through.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Sorry, man, i still don't know what you're talking about "Steph curry giving a sign?" I don't get how that helps me. I bet the game before the game ... whats a sign gonna do for me in the 4th? By the way, can i guess what the sign is?
a) The entire starting 5 sitting on the bench for the last 4 mins?
b) When steph curry checks out of the game and high fives the entire team walking to his seat?
c) When steph curry puts a towel over his head signaling he's done?
d) who knows?
But the other reason i play parlays is because I'm really busy, i don't have time to bet 1h and 2h, bet the 4pm game then the 730 warriors game then bet who ever is losing the 2h in that game .... i don't have that much free time. I've got 2 small kids at home. i have basically the time I'm sitting in traffic on my way to work or sitting at my desk where i can look over a daily card. Most days, i never know if someone is sitting out resting or theyre hurt till after the game. I enjoy betting on some games, i won't say i wish i wasn't married or didn't have kids so i could live in vegas or just have all day to look at teams and stats, I've got a great family.
But that NOOB thing? whats that about? i don't bet the way you do, so I'm a noob? I'm not as good at betting sports as you.
I can appreciate helpful advice, like the hedging thing but again i don't really have the time. you guys are all 100% correct that i could've hedged and wouldve at least came out positive $$.
In hindsight, I'm more upset with myself i didnt double the parlay with Clips on the end. Thats what I'm kinda kicking myself about. my max bet per team is 1k. id rather bet another $88 with clips on the end and still win the 6600 minus the other two parlays.

In other words you are an extreme degenerate gambler and need that "rush". How many heart breaking parlays do you have to lose to see that its not worth it? I can tell you first hand for myself I only had to deal with that once before I realized I was wasting money and my time.
Its really nice to just focus on one game and when its over and you have won its relaxing to have it out of the way and to start focusing on the next day. But oh well...not everyone has the self control. I have a friend that parlays every day 25-30 dollars. Complete waste of money. I tell him why dont you just put that 25 on one team? Sure it only pays 18 dollars or so but when you are only hitting once every other week on a parlay that pays 800-1200 dollars is it really worth it? You are hardly making a profit. Everytime you cash out all you are doing is blowing your money on parlays until you hit one again and like you said all you need a cold streak to get buried deep. Then you are forced to parlay just to get out of the hole
