Teams that have scored 40-plus in the playoffs are just 3-22 against the spread in their following game since 1996! The last time a team posted 40-plus points, the Patriots went on to lose to Denver in last year's AFC Championship.
Also teams that have a pick 6 in the Super Bowl are 12-0!! Take it for what it's worth.. Last year and this year Pats scored 40 on colts in playoffs and In turn got beat the following game, cocky? Perhaps.. Or weak opponent they beat up on to make em look good.. Maybe or how about both.. Seahawks, they are notorious for pick 6 and last year was what put the ponies out to pasture before half, I believe Seattle can set Brady up for another pick 6.. And I truely believe the Hawks win this game rather easily, 37-20.. Now I am a Steelers fan so I am unbiased towards either team, just going w the facts.. Also remember a east coast team traveling west and playing a late game tends to lose their internal clock, their timing , alas Baltimore barely escaping SF 2yrs ago.
