&#xA;This is incorrect.  The outcome of the 49ers/Rams game had no bearing on the NFC West title.  That will solely be decided by the winner of the week 17 matchup.  Even if the Niners had lost to the Rams, if they win in Seattle in week 17 they would have won the tie-breaker over Seattle due to strength of victory.

&#xA;This is wrong. If the Niners has lost last night and Seattle would had won today, the game next week would have been meaningless. Niners would have been 5 seed.
