49ers had their chance

All they needed to do was convert 3rd and 4 after the 2 min warning run the clock to set up game winning field goal.. They failed to do so the paid the price.. 

I can't believe during the 2 min warning they couldn't script their best play to set up the win.. 

Also in OT inside the 10 yard line on 3rd down..  why didn't they take a timeout?   

At end of day SF gets outcoached.. D Line kept Mahomes in the pocket for 60 mins.. in OT I am sure they set up blocking for delayed runs up the middle that killed the Niners

True. That punt was big, but when it mattered niners kicked fg and kc scored td. You can’t have the ball inside the opponent’s 10 in ot and blame anyone but yourself.

 I don't think they do.  I think they continue to be dominant but come up short.  They need a mindset shift and Shanahan won't give up what he thinks is working for him.

Yes In overtime 4th and goal at nine yard line, SF should go for a win not a field goal and Mahomes a great chance to win.

If you failed, Mahomes had to get go from nine yard line which could make a differant resualt.

OT rule, each team will have a chance with the ball.  Even if Niners TD in OT, the game is not over.  With this rule, SF should have deferred.  Either Kyle was lost or didn't know the rule.... embarrassing, stupid, ....whatever you want to say...

Isn't it funny how every Monday someone says. I can't believe they did this or they didn't do that. It's rigged people wake the f up 

The way the punt returner for the niners just whiffed on that ball instead of jumping on it was comical. Just another one of the million coincidences

 True, Kyle Shanahan play call is too conservative, should of go for the win.

They will get more chances but maybe 30 years later.  

Got a guy in his mid 60's say he will die not seeing them whiners win the Superbowl again.  Well at least he gets to see one.  I'm 47, I got to see one too.  Now there are a group of kids younger than 30 who never experience it and are thirsty to see one.  Those are the groups that hurts the most.

I still remembered that dirty play by the defense.  Play was way over n he walked over to him and did a wrestling suflex on the QB.  That was criminal assault.  

Yep! That was just wrong but as you stated with you and the man in his sixties and I as well as many Chicago young ones who may be waiting for a hell of a long time before they even get to see another one because year in and year out many say they are a good team in past years when really they are not and passing on Mahomes may be one that will haunt them for years to come.
