5dimes check won’t deposit at chase bank

Question

they said I have to send it to collections.  The check was 3k from Canada.   Anyone else have this problem

Yes.  I work for a real estate development company.  Checks drawn on foreign banks are routinely held for collection.

The bank said it would take 2-6 weeks.  Will the money be in my account for sure ?   This is my first time sending to collections.

i have chase and i have never had that problem with heritage. they said it would possibly go to collections, but it ended up cashing in two days. since the first deposit, it cashes overnight. also form canada

It&#x27;s all a bunch of crap. We need to get 10 sports fans to run for office for every legislative seat in every state and pound the table on the legalization issue to avoid this nonsense. More competition might even result in online books in the states with reduced vig. In my dreams. It&#x27;s crazy that a state allows horse betting, dog betting, the lotto, and even casinos (i.e. Oklahoma), but it&#x27;s against the law to bet $1 on a football game? What a bunch of hypocritical morons these politicians are. The person ought to be able to smell the tax revenue stream from 200 miles away, just like they do with everything else.

No you don&#x27;t have to deposit with bitcoin to withdraw bitcoin. On bovada I just deposit with my debit card and then withdraw via bitcoin to my block chain wallet then transfer to coinbase then transfer to my bank. (you&#x27;ll get the money in 2 days) BOOM

&#xA; &#xA; &#xA;Just talked to 5Dimes. They said no one is complaining about their Canadian checks. I&#x27;ve had trouble in the past with them, now I use MG, or BTC. Fook their checks! You can send their check back, have your money re-deposited, and withdraw via BTC for 3K.

It should still clear. I bank with Wells and play with BM. Never had a problem with the 3K checks from Canada. Then one day a teller with a hair up her arse decides to play high and mighty and is all, "We have to run this and run that. It may be fraudulent, am I sure I want to deposit it." I said, "Look at how much I have in this account. Have some respect. Do your job, deposit the check, and let me worry if it&#x27;s legit or not." Check cleared the next day.

Ask for a bank wire....thats what i have been doing forever.....for large amounts its perfect.....cash in cash out 2 days or so......although i have been spoiled since i have only dealt with pinnacle so i know thats not avail. for prob. 90% on the board here but for me its the only thing i do.......

deposit it at the atm homie, don&#x27;t go to a teller...half the time they don&#x27;t know what they are talking about. That check is not a foreign check...it is a us dollar check, not Canadian dollars so you just deposit it at the atm and you fine. I&#x27;ve done that four years...do it at another bank...you should have more than one bank.

Correct, never deposit checks inside. Just slide into the ATM. Very important to remember.

The first one took a week. After you have a blue print, it cleats 1 day wait for me. I have chase too. Atm don't eat these foreign checks. Must go inside. Maybe you cashed too soon. I stayed under the radar or they might hold you longer thinking you money laundering. I cash out 1x a month if I'm hot. So far I'm not. Lol
