7 sacks.. its not darnold fault

There have been 2 or 3 where he had no chance. The rest of them he’s stood in the pocket like a statue instead of getting rid of the ball. 

They are dumb all around, down 3 scores and punting at midfield with 10 min left 

He’s had plenty of time to throw. 

Plus he's got cement shoes on. His run was astounding.

What game are you watching? I haven't counted but if its 7 sacks at least 4-5 are because he looks lost or run away when he should have threw the dam ball

 Looks like he’s holding onto the ball too long on most of them. 

He thinks he have 5min to throw the ball and he been in the league for to many years should know better to throw the ball in 3 sec. 

Please don't extend his contract, not sure who the worst Qb, Jone or him..

I am a Viking fan and watching that garbage tonight was absolutely embarrassing. Darnold was horrible last week in Detroit and it carried over to this game tonight. Darnold has weapons all over the field. Addison Hockenson and the best receiver in football in Jefferson. The ball has to come out faster he was holding the ball to long. He looked completely lost in Zona. There is no way he is back next year in a purple jersey. The only reason he had a great season was because of the weapons and coaching.

You also have to question the play designs that O'Connell put out.

The Rams played a lot of press man coverage, something they rarely do. But they obviously mimicked the Lions gameplan. 

I saw a lot of 5 step drops

Prior to these last two games, Darnold was getting rid of the ball really quickly. Some of those sacks were because he held onto the ball too long. Something flipped in that Lions' game last week that affected his mindset. I guess it was the press coverage but doesn't he have a response? 

 QB holding the ball too long, offensive line was subpar to say the least and finally the coaching: Guilty as charged.
