If I titled this post "Detroit Lions Pool" nobody would read it.
My friend started a pool. $50 buy in. 15 players. The winner receives $750 in BEER!
Here's the deal;
You choose if the Detroit Lions will win or lose, and you claim how many points they will score each week.
Whoever is closest to the points wins 10, and if you nail it exactly, you get 25 pts.
Each week, the win/loss payout pays different amounts depending on a spreadsheet sent out in the beginning of the season. If you choose the Lions to beat the Jets, and they do, you get 17 points. If you chose them to lose, and they do, you got 5 pts.
I am leading the pool and was wondering if it would be wise to choose the Lions to beat the Jets at home.
Whoever has the most points at the end of the season wins all the beer!

I think there is no other choice than to take the lions WIN and about 23 points.
I wanted to share this idea with everyone and see what you guys thought.
