Question

i see way to many people jumping all over the patriots so early. did SEA play like sh!t? yes. did NE play great? yes.

you are never as good as last week, you are never as bad as last week.

give it time.

offense doesnt travel, defense does.

that being said, i dont have a play yet. it will come later in the week.

whats your guys first thoughts and or leans?

Yea, the second the line dropped, I hit Seattle for 2 units(big bet for me) without a thought. Would rather have Sherman, but I&#x27;m fine either way.

Saw both games, and didn&#x27;t really understand why Seahawks played like they did. Especially offense. As if like the pressure got to them. Meanwhile, though expected, very impressed with Pats execution. They were efficient and played smart. Initial lean is on Pats...especially if Sherman not healthy.That said, I wonder if Indy was able to run the ball, would the game be closer (not necessarily Colts winning)? Seahawks will be able to run the ball, the question is will they be able to stop the run (although one can argue, Packers RB better than Pats).Another surprised to see was, Seahawks pass rush...unable to have more pressure and sacks on Rodgers with a bad calf.(and as Dolphin fan, hard to root for Pats haha)

well, its all about public persception .... seattle beat a very bad carolina team , and get rocked at their own place by a GB team with a hobbled rodgers .... on the other hand , pats demolished a "good" colts team that destroyed and dominate a "great" denver team and demolished a "hot" bengals team ..but truth be told ......

seattle played the toughtest teams and schedule , GB played perfectly until final quarter when Mcarthy went soft and conservative , and people forget that the seattle defense denied the packes to get in the end zone in that many tries .....

the pats suffered and almost lose to a ravens team that always have NE number ...... and what both ravens and seattle have in common .is both they are very very physicall teams, both have nice ground and pound game ...

if anything good we can take out of the chamipnship week end is : .... seattle had a great wake up call and they are now eating some humble pie, for sure they will carry on with the momentum ... NE will have a great challenge ahead, how they will contain wilson, how they are gonna stop beast mode , how are they gonna succesfully stablish a run game and also avoid Brady of being hurried, sacked , pressured all game long ....and also after watching seattle playing whole 60 mins and never give up .....

im on the team that want it badly , the one that is better all around and have the superior defense and running game

I&#x27;m seeing the SB as a much more DEFENSIVE battle.  Two teams that both have good running games, one more than the other.Green Bay and Indy had enough "give up" in them to cost them both their pride and respect.Brady is just Brady.  He sniffs weakness&#x27;s and will make you pay and pay until you show him you can stop him.  Wilson showed that no matter how far they are down, or how much time is left, their going to fight until the bitter end.Just two great teams that will do anything to win.  See a low scoring game until late in the forth. Like Seattle to have more heart than New England.Things can change in 2 weeks, but if we are going to measure a teams pulse, and look into their dedication to winning, and staying together no matter how bleak it looks.....gimme the warrior mentality of the hawks for the win.  Looking forward to your take later in the week Alta.

Your right it is public perception and yours is so off Its comical.!st getting rocked means you don&#x27;t lose a game 28-22  ,worse losing it after being up 16-0 at the half .Outplayed for 3 quarters mean nothing unless you complete the task  .Rodgers leg had zero to do with them collapsing .Great teams become great by wining games no matter what. The Colts beat a worse team in the Bengals then Hawks with Panthers ,As good as the Ravens play in the playoffs in general the Bungles play as bad. The Broncos clearly beat themselves ,  we find out the QB was hurt and the Coach and team had to be in turmoil ,since he was there best coach and was fired 2 days later or left the Colts need a lot of help to compete  with the Pats.. How anyone thought they weren&#x27;t losing by minimum of 10 points aren&#x27;t following the game ,

both teams played like crap last week but Seahawks have played like crap for the first 3 quarters two games in a row in the playoffs. NE should be able to match SEA&#x27;s defense here. Very underrated according to some of the discussion I have heard saying SEA will move t he ball easily on them. Much stronger than Denver&#x27;s defense last year by a mile. I know Hawks have that warrior mentality and all that good stuff but fundamentally and with the weaponry on the field this is NE&#x27;s game to win or lose in the end.

I don&#x27;t think a blowout by new England was necessary and am starting to think they may be gassed after 2 straight weeks of high scoring affairs. I haven&#x27;t decided yet on a play and will probably wait until Friday before to make it final.

Marshawn Lynch, he is the back bone of this Seattle offense. He ran for 120 yards in the 2h against Green Bay yesterday, Seattle would not come from 16-0 behind and beat Green Bay without Marshawn.

Bill Bilichick is well known to take out opponent's strength and attacking opponent's weakness. And since there isn't much weakness in Seattle's defense, Bilichick will surely stop Marshawn at all cost. Will he be able to design schemes to shut down Marshawn? It's up in the air.

Huge advantage for the Hawks mentally going into the SB. They essentially lost last game and have gotten a lot of cobwebs out.

Pats played pretty flawless and will be a little more mistake prone next game.

There is zero chance Wilson can play that bad and Brady can play that good again.

Hawks lean for me and then waiting on your approval to make it a play.

lol at anyone having a mental edge, these are two experienced teams with genius head coaches, this will come down to x's and o's and guys and joes, the Patriot receivers as a total group are the best we've seen since the old patriots of the 16-0 season. The 3 white horseman along with Brandon Lafell has to be as good as GB with cobb, nelson, adams.

on paper this looks like a close matchup but I think Seattle got very lucky to win vs GB and it won't happen again. It comes down to the passing game and that's where the Pats have the edge.

don't look now but with darrell revus the pats secondary is pretty good, better than the GB secondary that stuffed the hawks most of the game

Think Spurs last year and bet the Pats. Tim Duncan came into last season in unbelievable shape and focused on one thing. Brady has carried himself with the same swag all season. He has the team to do and it is his year.

New England is the better, healthier and more experienced team right now.

Seattle isn't nearly as good as last year. They've been exposed all season and to be quite honest that young team just won their Superbowl. I mean there were tears.

The fire won't be the same as it will be for the Pats.

differing trends.....Super Bowl winner hasn&#x27;t repeated in 10 years, longest streak since Pitts in 78-79 and Sf 88-89, so Seattle is due to break that streak...AND team that scores 40 or more points is bad bet in next game.    so Seattle thereHOWEVER......Ne covered their 1st SBowl trip and hasn&#x27;t covered the last 4....do you really think a qb and coach who have gone to 6 SBowls together will be 1-5 ats?    so NE thereas for me, conflicting trends, so no bet, its just another game.good luck to the rest of you
