barring a major (and I mean, major life-changing cannot play again style) injury, Andrew Luck get's a max deal on or before the end of season. whether you think he's legit (personally I think he is very much so) or not it won't matter, max deal and all the wiggle room a player can be given.

The Colts struggled to surround Luck with a good team and now they wanna give him a $25M max deal? If they give him this deal, the Colts are going to be a mediocre team for years to come with only slight chances of making the playoffs. Look at the Ravens after they paid Joe Flacco. The Jags are building an incredible team and the Titans are also on a good way. The times with a 5-1 head start within the division are definitely over.

Agree with summa. Colts fans abhor grigson, he had the Russell Wilson dream as far as cap goes and came away with nothing. Luck is not as good as everyone thinks he is and unfortunately it will get worse with less cap room. Although to be honest, the colts have a terrible history with the draft and free agency

According to Football Outsiders' DYAR rankings, Luck was worse than Mallett and Manziel last year. That is hardly a ringing endorsement.
Computing my Passing Power Indices and comparing Luck to elite QB's last year, Palmer was 76% more efficient, Brady 62% more efficient, and Wilson 72% more efficient.
Looking ahead to this fall's season, I think taking a top five passing defense on the road vs. Luck at home as a favorite should cash a ticket. The under IND team total should also work.
