The Packers are not playing the soft Vikings this week they are playing the Detroit Lions. Yes the Lions probably blew their chance of a playoff spot two weeks ago as Coach Campbell said his team got kicked in the teeth. But this Lions team has more than just a running back in Cook and 1 good receiver in Jefferson. Opening line is +4.5 but I am going to wait because I know there will be a ton of money jumping on the Pack at -4.5. The Lions will be playing smash mouth football this week this will not be a let down game for them as they played at Carolina. The offense with DJ Chark, St. Brown, Josh Reynolds TE Brock Wright who is a beast (and the reason the Lions dumped T J Hockenson for a higher draft pick) is huge both on offensive scoring and he is so tough at blocking for the running game with Jamaal Williams and Swift and the small screen plays over the middle. And lastly and I have been saying this for a few weeks now but the Lions are going to turn Jameson Williams loose this coming week and he showed on Sunday on a reverse how unbelievably fast he really is. Aidan Hutchinson and the D will hold Rodgers down. When Dan Campbell was asked are you not worried about the cold in Green Bay he said its forecast at -1 degree he said hell we will practice in our shorts one day this week just to climatize ourselves. He aslo said he realized that the Lions would need help to get in the playoffs but they also have the roll of playing spoilers which he said also makes the game that much more important. So if you are expecting the same half hearted effort as the Vikings gave on Sunday it ain't going to happen. The Lions have one of if not the best offensive lines in the league and Goff once again will have plenty of time to put the offense to work.
