SF owned Cincy
Dallas owned Buffalo
NE owned Eagles
Giants owned NE
KC owned Eagles?
Any others?
Steelers beat Staubach and the Cowboys twice in the 1970s and then the Aikman Cowboys beat the Steelers in the 90s. I guess I don't understand your h2h matchups reference.

@buffer
Do the Cowboys get credit for a split if they lost two Super Bowls to the Steelers in the 70s but get revenge in the mid 90s against the Steelers in the big game?

As already mentioned your headline is wrong. Pitt swept Dallas in two super bowls in the 70s then Dallas got one back when Neil O’Donnell threw that game in the 90s.

your right I didn’t realize the Steelers beat them both times in the 70’s. I thought Dallas split with them in the 70’s. My bad I was thinking they split b/c Dallas covered as a dog one of those Super Bowls.

Okay there was more than 10 years b/n the Pats/Eagles Super Bowl splits. All other h2h matchups that were played within 10 years were swept by the same team. Wow that’s a strong stat.

Damn games not even played and owning a team twice in a SB doesn’t constitute anything when they play during regular season and lose. If they were 20-0? I’d say they owned a team.
