I am here in Charlotte and can confirm this... It was on lacal sports radio...but sounded like he was OK and will play.

No report on if he had any injuries....

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers player Steve Smith was in a minor fender-bender while traveling to Bank of America Stadium on Thursday evening, according to Panthers officials.

The Panthers say Smith was not injured and he will play in the game against the Miami Dolphins. The collision happened in the Myers Park area.

Sports Director Greg Bailey said Smith is usually one of the first players on the field before a game. On Thursday evening, he was noticeably absent

According to WR Coaches "Reported a T-bone and a fender bender.  Not sure what the accident actually was".  He just arrived at the stadium and should be fine to play.
