i believe soo too...as an eagles fan i kinda feel for kolb but with the O LINE we have, vick is our best shot to win right now...as a season ticket holder of the eagles this makes me a little bit more optimistic

&#xD;&#xA;Totally agree!!   Its hard to plan for Vick...but Kolb.....it was pretty easy as he is not the type of dynamic player Vick is, nor does he have the scrambling ability.

The Lions were in the backfield the entire game.  No wonder Kolb got concussed.  They truly are terrible.  The D ain&#x27;t much better Shawn Hill gashed them for 335 yards.

Does anyone remember Vick in ATL? I didn't think he looked good last year after just coming from jail and missing a lot of time, but if this dude is really focused like he claims he is I'm a believer...Vick only made the pro-bowl and beat GB at home in a playoff game (which had never happened before). I'm glad Andy Reid finally swallowed his pride and took notice that Vick looks so much better than Kolb has ever dreamed of playing, truly does anybody remember How Bad Kolb has played? Maybe Kolb is the next steve young or brett favre who needs a change of location, but I have never seen it.

Bad....I think Vick is used to being Game-Planned against, and you can see w/ your own eyes his tosses are gorgeous and let him run and the team rallies behind that as well. Biggest no-brain decision I've seen in a while, and if Reid stuck to his guns w/ Kolb I would've had no problem saying another arrogant asshole keeping his team from winning.

He's looked OK so far but sooner or later reality is going to kick in. This guy is not a great QB and never was.

I'm not saying Kolb is any better but I wouldn't get too excited if I was an Eagles fan.

&#xD;&#xA;yes and i dont think he was ever that good a qb.  he is a highlight reel.  he played good against the lions and now people are ready to give him the mvp.   vick is not the future of this team if they really want to win a superbowl.  how do you announce kevin kolb is your future..get rid of mcnabb, and then bench him after 2 quarters..of which he had no protection...and now all confidence is probably gone for him, at least in philly.  so now philly has nothing long term.  even if vick is great this year, their defense is average at best since their coordinator died, this is not a championship defence or team.  they were better off swallowing the pill which i believe they planned on doing in the off season naming kolb the starter.  now this team has no future at qb, they will not get a good draft pick because they will certainly win their share of games. so i guess they sign vick to a 3 year deal if hey plays good and overpay him?, because someone will overpay for him after this year, there are some horrible qb situations out there. i agree vick right now gives them a better chance to win week to week, but long term they are screwed. what qb walks into a starting position and lights it up? very few, kolb never even got  a chance, 2 quarters and spot play last year.

eagles can improve on their future regarding defense as they can actually get real good draft picks if they trade kolb. there are a bunch of teams out there who have shit masquerading as qb's right now.

season is still young so have to wait and see if vick can handle the rest of the season. teams are already looking back at those old falcons tapes to learn how to stop vick.
