Question

I love Seattle in this one.  The 12th man and plus they are pissed off after last weeks loss. I will add the team total over as well.  Anyone else have any thoughts?

The "12th man" remains the same,  as an integral part and aspect of the Seahawks success at home.......however, THE SEAHAWKS have not remained the same,  as the efficient &amp; effective squad of last year. For whatever reason, they don&#x27;t seem to be "in tune" as yet. They&#x27;ll get there within a few games, however, the Broncos are the wrong team to mess-with at this stage.........i think Manning will take advantage.

That&#x27;s funny. Because I think the same about the Broncos after last week.  I expected the Hawks to lose last week.  I didn&#x27;t expect Denver to almost lose and only score 3 points in the second half at home to the Chiefs.

Seattle favored by anything less than 7 at home is an auto-play. Expect Sherman to have a bounce back game, too, after people saying he's not a shut-down corner.

This is why i have such a hard time betting NFL. IMO seattle should be the winner by at least a TD. Yes theyre coming off a loss to San Diego but this was on the road which Seahawks are not known for excelling at.
Just a quick run down of why i think the 'hawks should take this game (and cover):
-Theyre back home. Coming off a road loss the 12th man should be in full effect for a "bounce back" win.
-Some said that the chemistry hasnt been there the past two weeks, even during their win. If theyre not "in tune" perhaps this is the week they decide to click and mesh as the team theyre expected to be.
-Sherman. He has to have a good game. His ego will be involved. He knows in the back of his mind if he doesnt play at least decently that he'll be a topic of discussion on sportscenter.
-The broncos. Peytons expected to play decent. Will he? Most likely. After all it is Peyton Manning. But will it be a GREAT game? Id say all things point to not likely. Id expect the Broncos to have had this game circled since the night of their SB loss however theyre just not together enough to engineer the kind of embarrassment theyd like to. If the 'hawks are not "in tune" then the Broncos are tone def. Theres much less chemistry in Denver than there is in Seattle.

That being said everything looks/sounds good in writing but they still have to play. "Any given sunday..."

Small sample size, but it points to a low scoring affair. Under 49 may be the play.

Anyone ever stop to think that maybe the reason why Denver didn't look like the juggernaut they are last week vs KC was because they might have been looking ahead to this game??? Also very possible that the reason why SEA lost had to do with them knowing that Denver was gonna bring it the next week.

Denver has been looking ahead to this game since the whistle blew at the end of the SB... Did anyone watch the preseason game? That was a REAL game in the first half... and I guarantee Denver is gonna (at least try to) show SEA and the world that they ARE good enough to go into Seattle and win.

Anyone expecting another blowout is sadly mistaken.

I see a close tough lower scoring game than the sb.

Broncos have GOT to be licking their chops at a chance for revenge on that super embarrassing loss to the hawks on a big national stage last time they played each other.

Plus Broncos are much better on defense now. Demarcus Ware wasn't there last time.

havent you learned That the superbowl losers are always bad bets the year follwoing also NEVER returned next year since 1992
Broncos couldnt cover vs an ailing div rival that had no business being in game at all.
NO offense to speak of a misss mashed O line more defenders gone than week 1 and Denver almost losses the game at HOME???

Seahawks after a loss on road are money at home they will remind everybody how bad denver was and still is.

The rest of you can go tease denver up to PLUS 18 with 3 or more teams as u have to and i 'll lay the 5 points on Haks at home

I think the Chargers provided a blueprint for other teams to be competitive with the Seahawks. The Chargers did not throw up field but took what Seattle was giving. This type of ball control offense seems to be the only way you might have a chance. The Chargers only averaged a little over two yards a carry on the ground but it made for manageable second an third downs. Manning is good at this. It will be interesting to see how this game goes. I don't buy the "they're pissed off because they lost" crap, ask NO and Indy about that before last week. If Seahawks get beaten at home that bandwagon might get a little lighter! I predict a close high scoring game with the last team with the ball winning.

The Broncos expect to play Seattle in a SB repeat.  Compared to that, this game doesn&#x27;t mean all that much.  Expect the Broncos to play pretty vanilla, keeping their best stuff for that important rematch. They definitely won&#x27;t show all they&#x27;ve got. I think Seattle may romp, but never bet against Peyton.  No play for me.
