I'm dying to pick the Chargers, and hate the Falcons, but it is hard to pull the trigger with Lynn driving... anyone think they can bounce back from getting throttled?

Lynn noticed that, too, and he is in charge of special teams for the rest of the season. If Chargers are motivated to wash the stink of their blowout, shutout loss last week, they will come out fighting. So Chargers for first half should cash. In the second half, you may get Lynn'd again.

How many times does anyone need to be Lynn'd? The Chargers are the only team in NFL History to lose 3 straight games when they led by 17+ points.. It might be a good spot for the Chargers maybe but I cant do it.. GL

There is no way I am betting on the Chargers while Lynn in the HC. The guy is clueless, he may be a great guy and liked by his players but as a HC he has no idea about game situations or how to be a HC in the NFL.

Thanks all, and I agree: am not betting on the Chargers.
I have to pick winners of every game each week, and this game is the only one I've really had difficulty deciding on. I'm 5 games back from the leader for the season, so every game, every week, counts now.
Really appreciate the help and insights!

I’m taking a chance on the chargers this week.
aside from the matchups and game breakdown, chargers are on something like an 0-6 ATS roll, Courtesy of Mr. Lynn more of less.
they need to break the streak sometime, no? Why not against Atlanta of all teams?

@Coviddies
Matt Ryan - 52 wins vs 53 loses on the road.
vs.
Justin Herbert - 2 wins vs 9 loses at home.
The smart play is the Falcons and Matty Ice! Good luck.

Agreed but sometimes the tough bets are the ones that cash.
Atlanta’s defense is decent - good enough to stymie Mr. Herbert?we shall find out.
no Julio helps, team is different without him.

I agree this is a tough one. Herbert is tied with Andrew Luck @ 6 games over 300 passing. Herbert is going to break that record. Does he do it this week? I don't think he does.
Here are the games he has left to do it:
Home to Atlanta & Denver
Road to Vegas & KC.
I think he breaks the record @ Vegas IMHO!!

I don't think its a good pick. Chargers are playing to lose for next season. It's also obvious that the team hates Coach lynn. How does a team not get pumped up and psyched over the new rookie QB. Its because coach lynn is an awful coach and the team wants him gone. I doubt they will try to get a win for him this week or the rest of the season.

I would not bet a peso on the Chargerettes. Their season is done and they just want it to end and hopefully have a productive training camp next season.

Colin covered this game as a potential bonus pick in his Saturday podcast. He shit all over it... thinks Lynn has completely lost the team. I'm in a pool with 150 other people, and 57 picked LAC too.
Would never bet on LAC now, that is certain.
