I recall years ago Broncos were in the reverse situation already clinching division.. +11 vs i think San Diego Chargers and outright beat them to knock them out of playoffs.. they let starting defense play all game..
I believe was during John Lynch years

the Taliban killed US soldiers. Is this supposed to be amusing?
The US Government funds Afghanistan by the tune of $160 mill per month. Might want to check into who runs the Afghani government.... usernames should be the least of your concerns here....

The Chiefs can't sit their entire starting lineup. Mahomes / Kelce / Thuney / CJ95 / McDuffie guys will sit for sure. Creed / DJ and some of the defensive guys like Bolton / Chenal probably play 1H. 10 points is a lot to lay here. Denver will know the outcome of the Cincy and Indy games but Miami plays same time slot so not a lot of room for scoreboard watching.

I think Denver is going to win easily. Wentz gets folded up like a law chair when he faces good defenses that can sack him and he holds the ball too long when under pressure. The Chiefs offense wasn't even that good with Mahomes in this year, they did just enough to win behind a smothering defense. They're not gonna score much on a great defense with their backups when the starters were only adequate and relied a ton on Mahomes and Kelce to make the drive extending plays.
The Chiefs will definitely be concerned about injuries as they have had issues with that all season. And for the Broncos, facing a team with nothing to play for that is playing on the road and basically treating this as a bye week, who already has another bye week coming, and will be playing backups on an already mediocre (by their standards) offense is a far cry from being on the road playing a Cincinnati team with the best WR in the world and the league leader in passing who was desperate to win and make the playoffs. And they still took them to OT.
Also the Chiefs have owned Denver for years. So they're not gonna feel the need to beat them here, they're not worried about playing them again in the playoffs either, Spags owns rookie QBs.
It's not just the lack of motivation and backup players, the KC coaches will run a vanilla AF offense and not show exotic defenses and blitz packages. Nix will thrive on that lack of pressure.

I agree with this, they can't all sit and furthermore, Kansas city has had success in these "meaningless " games.
By the way the colts are already out. I'm sure it's still hard to believe they got ousted by the giants last week

Carson Wentz has got to still be haunted when he led Philadelphia to the number 1 seed before getting IR only to have scrub Nick Foles come in and get the super bowl MVP. I mean he will never be able to love that down, it's like having your first love snatched away

Nice breakdown for sure. Not enough to get me to lay 10 with the Donkeys though.
Also nice that we get 2 rookie QBs making first playoff start on the road this year

Historically rookie QBs get crushed in playoffs on the road.. I think only Mark Sanchez was the only one who won recently but could be wrong..
