I am pondering this game...looked at who the LAC beat this year: Buffalo, SF, Oakland (twice), Cleveland, Tenny (by 1 point), Seattle, and Arizona. Aside from Seattle a most unimpressive list of teams that they have beaten though I consider Cleveland to be on the uptick.
Rivers has been playing spectacularly and Ben has been plagued by turnovers lately (not all his fault). Rivers is 2-4 lifetime (1-3 at Pittsburgh) but this stat really carries very little weight as they don't play each other that often. The weather is ideal for this one...53 degrees and clear...and very little wind.
Both teams are in the hunt and Pittsburgh would love to have a shot at the second seed but they still have the Patriots and Saints to play so this one at home is vital towards that goal.
At home and at night and on center stage I am leaning Pitts - 3 1/2...so much rides on the shoulders of Ben R. but he usually has bounceback games after a stinker or two. Pitts continues to turn the ball over which is a luxury they can't afford. Conner and Grimble's fumbles cost them dearly in Denver last week and the pick at the end by Ben was the death blow.
Juju Smith-Shuster in his second year has been playing like an all pro opposite Antonio Brown. The Chargers team stats might be buggered upward by their lack of quality opponents. That changes on Sunday night...

Look homeward angel...I am feeling it now...I like Pittsburgh by at least a TD. The Steelers are battle hardened whereas the Chargers are frauds who have benefited from a soft schedule. The loss of their NT for this week might weaken that LAC rush D...of course the loss of their RB has to hurt.

Big time steelers fan here. They are a team that usually barely wins by 3. I'd suggest to choose a different game.
Of the Steelers' 7 wins this year, only one victory was decided by a field goal and that was by a last minute TD by Tampa and the final was not indicative of how the Bucs were dominated in that game. The other 6 wins were by 4 points or much higher.
I have a feeling that the Pitts' O will strike quickly in this game. Historically, Pitts plays its best in December.
